Hyrule
Within Faron lies the Ordona Province, a small, wooded region guarded by its namesake. Ordona, the Spirit of Light watches over these woods and the village that lies within.
The wooded region of Hyrule. Deep in the Faron Woods lies a secret, special place where the elusive tribe of Kokiri and Deku make their homes.
The largest area in all of Hyrule is the central region, better known as the Central Province, for simplicity's sake. It has typically one type of terrain; grassy, hilly plains as far as the eye can see. The capital of Hyrule City can be found here.
The province of Eldin is vastly different from the main sectors of Hyrule. The earth is dryer, and the weather a bit more harsh. It has rolling fields, as well as deep chasms that no one has really explored the bottom of. While central Hyrule is lush and green, much of the land in Eldin is dusty, brown and ever autumnal. Eldin is home to those who are a bit more hearty in nature.
Possibly the most diverse region of Hyrule, the Lanayru Province, guarded by Light Spirit Lanayru, is split into three parts. Lake Hylia, that holds the Spirit Spring, the Desert Province which is home to the Gerudo homeland of the Gerudo Desert, and the cold regions of the Peak Province.
It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's the Sky Province! The Rito make their home on the floating islands here, but there are still many yet to be fully discovered. To access the floating Islands, you must have a means to get up there.
Do your travels take you outside of the borders of Hyrule? Just remember that the biggest dangers are usually the unknown ones!
