The Starlight FestivalIn spite of recent events, the people were tired from fighting for so long. With the war now truly beginning, it seemed crazy to hold the Starlight Festival again, two years after the Tragedy. But the people of Hyrule would band together to celebrate the life that each day brings. And to say goodbye to those they had lost by floating lanterns into the sky. Goodbyes were said, tears were shed and new romances were formed. It was a bittersweet night of peace, but peace could only last for so long in the midst of a war...
Corruption Of The Twilight RealmSince the restoration of the Mirror of Twilight, Hyrule's people knew something was coming. But they never could have imagined what. Light was encapsulated by darkness. Dubbed the "Twilight Curtain", a veil began to fall over Hyrule. This sheet of darkness left no hearts untouched. The Ordon and Peak Provinces were the first to fall prey to its as the Curtain's greed spread throughout the land, draining their Spirits of Light of their mirth and leaving only monsters in its wake. Those unable to escape sheltered in their spiritual forms with only each other and prayers for comfort.
The Royal Family would recruit a group of volunteers from all backgrounds to drive away the Curtain and rescue those trapped within. Dubbed "Lightbringers", they would venture into the Curtain and find their forms morphed into those of beasts. Left to navigate monster-entrenched lands in unfamiliar forms, these Lightbringers would fight fang and claw to hunt the Tears of Light harbored by the monsters that wandered the land and terrorized those within. One by one, Ordona's Tears would be returned to their spring, but the Peaks were another matter. As far as anyone knew, the Peaks lacked a Spring of Light. But as the groups would reclaim the Tears from the monsters, a new Triforce Crest wielder's light would resonate with the tears, leading them to a spring hidden deep within an icy cave. It was here that the Spirit Hebra lay within. As the Springs were restored, the Spirits of Light were able to drive the darkness from their regions. But the price that had been paid by Ordon and the villages in the Peaks were a stark reminder that this war was far from over.

City In The SkyThe Twilight Curtain struck once more, this time in a place once thought impossible for it to reach. The ever-moving floating islands referred to as the Sky Province. Its serene drifting had been ground to an unsettling halt as a sheet of corrupted influence draped across ancient walls and puzzling architecture left no man or beast untainted. But with no spring to speak of, the Lightbringers would track the source of the darkness to a set of ancient ruins amidst the floating islands, called the City In The Sky.
Airships provided by the Arkwright family brought legions of volunteers and soldiers to the ruins. These squads were met with traps, monsters, and puzzles that tested not only their wisdom but their bonds and courage. Growing familiarity with their newly acquired beast forms was essential to making their way through the darkness in one piece. Amongst this group were several newly awakened wielders of Triforce shards now known as Crests. These Crest Wielders would become pivotal as at the top of these ancient ruins was the source of the Twilight Curtain: Argorok, a dragon corrupted by the magic and technology of Raalk's forces. The fight was harrowing, but magic and cunning weakened the beast and allowed the Crest wielders to use the power of the gods to attempt to purify the beast. While unable to fully purge Argorok of darkness, they were able to drive the Twilight Curtain from the Sky Province and the beast with it. The blood and sweat of our heroes had not only restored light to the skies... But also in turn discovered a rift between the two realms.
An opening into the Palace of Twilight.

Storming the Palace of TwilightHyrule's forces were sent through the portal and into the Palace of Twilight. With the Crest Wielders having come together and completed the Trial of the Goddess to reform the Triforce of Courage and Triforce of Wisdom, their combined magic would dispel the effects of the Twilight Realm and allow them to fight at their full strength. Hyrule's heroes would make their way into Raalk's chambers and engage the tyrant.
At the close of this battle, the Triforce would finally purify Argorok of darkness and bring Raalk to his knees. Taking a surprisingly lucid state, Raalk would reveal that he had been under the control of one he referred to as appearing like a God, whom had used the Fused Shadow to slowly take control of his mind and body. Stopping Raalk from ending things before this god could return, one of his associates would fire a dark mechanism at Raalk. Revealing this god to be the Demon Thief Ganondorf whom had been executed by the Sages and banished into the Twilight Realm, they also revealed their intentions to control Ganondorf for their own ends. Begging for his people to be saved in his last moments, Raalk's body was entirely consumed to revive Ganondorf. Extinguishing his would-be controller and engaging the party to test his abilities, Ganondorf proclaimed himself the Demon King and left to invade Hyrule. To take the Triforce for himself.
The Final BattleThe skies grew dark as Ganondorf and his armies stormed Hyrule Field, charging for Hyrule City. Hyrule's people made their final stand against Ganondorf there. During the battle, the Triforce would make itself known. But while Ganondorf was seemingly defeated due to his obsessed pursuit of the Triforce, the unthinkable happened when the Triforce itself was caught in the crossfire. Turning an unholy color, the Triforce's powers began to go out of control and nearly destroy Hyrule in the process.
Fortunately, those who had gathered would devise a plan to offer their healing magic and prayers to ease the Triforce's pain. Though it took a great deal of effort, Hyrule's heroes would succeed, and the Triforce would heal their weary bodies in turn. With good timing, as the Triforce's rampant power that had flooded into the depths below during its rampage, would bring Ganondorf back to the surface. This time transformed into a terrifying beast imbued with the Triforce's power -- Ganon.
Together, with the power of the Triforce and Sages from the past at their back, the heroes would manage to narrowly defeat Ganon. As Ganon fell through the ground and into the Depths far below, the Triforce would grant the deepest desires of those present. With Ritua's wish, nature would overflow around the field and for miles around, bringing life back to a Hyrule that had been ravaged by war. With that, the Triforce would be broken back into Crests and be scattered to the winds once more.
For a time, Hyrule was finally at peace.
