too many feelings, too small a heart
Dearest Ziya did not know she had done Hyrule Royal Family an immeasurable deed tonight~

<Space reserved for interacting with Leon, should the prince deign to do so>
But when the blonde ex-Guard approached, the young girl understandably looked frightened. People of her caste never had very good relation with authority. And since authority usually meant big body and strong arm, the sight of the blonde towering over her was very intimidating to her. She did not move and did not raise her head, preferring to have her eyes glued to Josh’s shoes rather than looking at his face.
Then her pouch was offered to her. Under her hood, the Zora blinked.
“T-thank you, Sir…”
Naturally she (pretended that she) did not see the secret donation, as the giver seemingly would rather not have his action seen. Although he seemed to hide it half-heartedly. After all, if his date and the prince over yonder could see a supposedly secret charity act then it was surely not true charity. True charity devoid of vanity would be done without a chance to be known. Nevertheless, the girl hurriedly took her pouch in a perhaps impolite manner, looking as if she wanted nothing more than to vanish from these high-class eyes.
But even beggars knew when they had hurt somebody.
One of the woman abruptly left the circle. For the first time the young Zora looked up, turning towards the kind blonde guy’s date as she stomped off the scene. In the dirtied beggar’s face, there was a hint of sadness. Perhaps she was sad because she knew she had offended someone. Or she was sad because she was too weak to be able to stop herself from making a scene. The young Zora looked like someone who did not want trouble, and so knowing she had made someone ran away burdened her. She was about to stand up and weave her way to the leaving woman when another voice stopped her in her tracks.
“Excuse me? Believe this is yours, yes? It went rolling over yonder.”
Naturally, the Zora bent down to avoid eye contact. But was she surprised when instead of feet her gaze met the top of a head. The voice belonged to a creature so short even looking down she could still see her face!
Her hand swiftly took the rupee with a mumbled thanks and was about to leave, but the Deku continued.
“Now, it seems to me that you’re having a spot of trouble here....” the Deku cradled the side of her head loosely, sighing openly before continuing on, “As am I to be honest dear... Might see a tad out of the blue, but... I need a bit of help. Course I’ll pay you for your time. Just need an assistant for the night.”
Under the watchful eyes of others, and some even with pitying gaze, the young Zora did not have an excuse.
“Pay…me?” She replied, sounding enthusiastic, “You have need…of someone like me? Of-Of course! Of course I’ll do it! I’ll do anything to be paid, um, Miss-Madam…?” she stopped, unsure.
If one were to judge by her hand gestures, she seemed to be a jumpy sort of fellow.
