For the Wolves (Anastasia, Quest)

Ah... good. At least there was someone around to offer a bit of a hand, or something of the sort. A zora, then... well, it wasn't far from their dwelling in these lands, Revyn supposed. Not that it made a difference regardless besides a minor point of interest for himself.

"Me, hm? I'm quite as alright as ever," the keaton replied with a slight grin, perhaps tempered just a little by the creature multiple sizes bigger than him that took a tentative step on the icy ground before opting to start to move around it. Still focused on the keaton, no less, though its eyes did occasionally flick over to the zora now nearby.

"An archer, though, hm? Well, I suppose it may not be the first time I've acted as something of a hunting canine," he chuckled, absolutely refusing to say 'hound' or 'dog' in such reference; he'd not degrade himself that much. "Take your shot when you may, then, but don't take too long, hm? There's still three or so more a bit further along," he suggested, before starting to walk off over to the side, the wolfos' eyes following closely after a momentary, curious pause.

At least, as soon as it quickly charged and pounced not too long after, Revyn was ready enough to avoid it, making sure to flick his tails away from snapping jaws. He may not have been a fighter, certainly, but he'd at least not be caught so easily.

"Mm... indeed. We'll just have to keep this one from making too much noise for now; I may be able to figure out the rest," Revyn thoughtfully hummed, shifting quickly out of the way -- to perhaps a bit of lost fur this time, but that much would hardly be noticeable -- as the wolfos lashed out at him again, in spite of none of this being exactly his fault.

But well, he didn't much expect these things to be as clever as, say, him.

"Revyn, you can... call me," the keaton replied in introduction, quickly darting back some to put some momentary space between him and the wolfos. Enough, at least, to flick his tails up, start gathering up water from the air between them... and snap it forward even as the larger canine started to pounce again, straight into its face. Not much for damage, Revyn could guess... but it would at least serve to stall the creature for a short time. "And yourself?" he asked with a slight grin, as though he were totally unfazed by any of this.

'Ana', then... so it would be. Another small point of interest to him on its own, but that could be left 'til later; after all, there were yet far, far too many people and other things he didn't know in this land of Hyrule.

Though, even quite regardless of that, knowing basically how to deal with monsters -- especially when he had some help -- was nothing particularly different among where he'd been.

"Well, perhaps, perhaps not. Split them from the pack, give them what appears to be a good target -- that is, yours truly -- and wolfos aren't that clever, really," he thoughtfully hummed, idly sniffing around a little at the air in the meanwhile. Three more, or so... though from what he could gather, it seemed that they might all have been right around the same area. A bit of an issue, perhaps, but there were still ways around it.

"So, I wonder, then: how good is your aim, hm?" he asked, his head tilting slightly in interest. "The wind is calm enough and I'm a good enough tracker, that I believe I can get you an angle on one of them. For the rest, well... maybe they can simply try and fight over little old me?" he suggested with a little chuckle, his ears already twitching and eyes wandering as he mused on a good route for just such an approach.

Well, if they knew what they were doing, then... all the better. For Revyn's own part, though he may hesitate to admit it, 'fleeing' was his main skill accumulated over quite a number of years. Sharp teeth but not the jaw strength, small stature with fittingly small strength... well, but he got on anyway.

"Mm... this way, then," he offered after a few more sniffs at the air, starting to wander off a bit to the side. The fairly calm winds wouldn't give much in the way of a buffer, he knew, and there were only so many angles that might end up possible between the trees... but he'd work something out, somehow or other. He'd survived this long, after all; no reason he couldn't continue to do so. Still, exhaling a slight hum when he caught a sight of white fur between the trees, he still pressed on a little further... to find somewhere with at least a bit of view of two of the remaining white wolfos.

"This, I think, will do. Or may have to," he suggested, his ears soon flicking slightly. A hint of a growl, that he'd guess only he could catch. Whatever that meant... well, he could guess he'd find out soon enough as he started to wander along toward them. If he was to serve as the distraction, of a sort, better perhaps to do it early.

"Take your shots when you may. I'll try and line them up nicely," he offered with a little chuckle. All he could do, perhaps, in what little time he had left before their attention would be drawn to him.

One arrow for now, then... that would do. What precisely he was going to do, he hadn't quite worked out yet, but far be it from him to not simply improvise. Somehow or other.

For as little as doing something like this himself was really his thing.

What was happening elsewhere, then, he could pay little mind, though he did take some small notice of, perhaps, a wall of ice. For now the first time in his days so far in Hyrule, though, he'd be taking a few small cuts and... well, an unpleasant, though fortunately small, chunk of fur out of one of his tails. A nice reminder that he was supposed to stop getting involved in things... but no matter.

"Now... just... go..." Revyn muttered, mostly to himself. Up to bounce easily off a branch and to the back of the rather larger canine whose attention was focused on him he went, the keaton's notably smaller teeth digging in... a little. As much as he could through the thicker layer of fur, enough to drive the white wolfos, with only a slight yelp, ever closer to the one that had crashed into the wall and was slowly starting to get back up.

It wasn't, perhaps, the keaton's best plan to stay clung to the one wolfos for however long he may... but he didn't much have other options at the moment, besides starting to pelt the top of his head with water orbs... when he could actually hit it.

Did he have it? Well... not really. It was hard enough just to try and bite through the wolfos's thicker fur with what jaw strength the keaton himself had, much less when the thing was trying to struggle him off of it. Fortunately not by slamming into anything... yet. Small favors, Revyn supposed.

"Mm... maybe... soon..." the keaton spoke up in muffled, somewhat awkward tones through the wolfos's fur, and his own maw remaining spread over it. Small favors, though, would only last so long, the keaton doing his best to try and grip a paw into some fur before the wolfos suddenly, and somewhat forcefully, shoved itself to the ground and rolled over once on its back. Not the most... comfortable amount of weight to have shoved over him, even for a moment, though he dared say he'd probably had worse a few times throughout his life.

"While it's trying to clear out its eyes, hm?" the keaton grumbled out, sprawled out on his back on the ground as he now was while the white wolfos nearby began to rub at its eyes, clearly bothered at least by what water orbs had hit.
