Light steps of the forest spirit found footing upon the sandbar, raised amidst of the dark chilling waters of that tall chamber. Droplets of water fell from soaked clothing, as more globules ran down the contours of the skull mask she worn proudly, knotted to the hip along with various small satchels. The purple fairy, in all her greatness, fluttered about, keen on the condition of the others just as well as her child, dear Saphe, who seem to be on the mend. This was good, as Hylia had indeed heed calm prayers and in tandem, such words were offered to Farore as well. The Kokiri shifted her glance from one to the other of her party, until something most curious had taken view for all to see.
"What the hell? Is that a tentacle?" The young spirit grimaced, rather uncomfortable with the tendril before them. Nary a second had pass until something wormed its way from the hole it rose from, within the clarity of the space that was the tendril -- an eye. "Oh gross." Saphe spat, as Bi had drawn closer to the child. "Positively unsettling, is it not?" The fairy thought aloud.
Suddenly, as if it were the calling of the deep, a monstrous roar bellowed throughout the chamber as the calm dark waters lapped the shore on which the party stood. Then thousand upon thousands of grains of sand spewed forth into the air, accompanied by what only could be describe as a monster of massive proportions, serpentine in scale yet sickening upon sight. In a magnificent leap it appeared, only to traverse the waters a bit far out until it turned its ire unto the group. Saphe didn't like as it slithered within the waters with ease towards them.
"Oh great. Just when I thought the sea monsters couldn't get any bigger." She groaned, pulling forth her trusted Fairy Bow from the resting place upon her back. But without notice, a hand had found her small wrist and ushered the forest child away from the path of the monster's destruction. "Oh hey! Don't just grab me like some kid!" Saphe growled, the smooth wooden curve of the bow still gripped tightly in her other hand. Of course, she believed Ana had good intentions but the spirit didn't particularly liked being touched, even if it were means for safety. Nonetheless, it was much appreciated by the glow of Bi, who followed all-together with the pale Zora and Kokiri to what might only be relatively safe distance from impact with the massive creature. Once safety was ensured, Saphe continued with her plan -- shoot a barrage of arrows until something happens.
And so she nocked the first arrow, the fletching soft upon her cheek as she took aim. One by one, arrow by arrow.
