Aurelie's Programme

Ephemera! Hi!

I have been quiet around the site for some time due to real-life commitments, but goodness did I LOVE your new character Aurelie when I read the application! It is always nice when a RPer is knowledgeable about what their characters are doing just like the characters themselves. And between the en pointe and how you fleshed out our own setting's ballet world, you certainly do know a lot!

It is nice to meet you! Please call me mint. I play three characters in this site: an amnesiac swordswoman, a cynical Twili rebel, and the young Queen of Hyrule. The last one I am offering for a plot with Aurelie, if you are interested!

Marianne de Hyrule (portrayed on the left by Ruby Rose of RWBY) is the third and youngest child of the late King and Queen. With dark secrets of her own (which I am happy to discuss later!) she didn't exactly have the happiest upbringing, but emerged as a highly competent and dutiful royal. Circumstances on her older brother and older sister forced her to be crowned Queen, which she does not want but tries her best nonetheless. And as far as anyone's concerned, she has done a fantastic job!

I like roleplaying formal events where manners and etiquette are important, but currently we don't have many nobles to play with. So when Mari's muse read your character she was like, "Finally! A woman of culture!" XD

I have several ideas:

• A backstage visit after the latest performance of Hyrulian Spring, perhaps? Aurelie did such a grand impression which wowed The Queen (or Princess, if a past thread is to be had) in the audience.
• Maybe The Queen wants to organize something in this current war with Twili to boost morale? Maybe the young knights wishe to see the Rose of Ordon in all her glory and The Queen is thinking to fulfill that wish? It would be interesting since at the current IC time Ordon Village is being overrun by Shadow Beasts and there are many refugees from Gerudo Desert and Ordona Province flocking to Central Province.
• I also have this idea of her first pas de deux as Anju was the first time the Princess saw a ballet (she would have been 10 or 11 years old at that time) and maybe she was so enamored she wrote the ballerina a letter of admiration? That would be carried through present days, making The Queen one of her biggest fans! A past thread with little Marianne and a younger Aurelie might be interesting too!
• Or perhaps Aurelie offered a one-time ballet lesson as a jest which The Queen took seriously and actually came? Marianne spent her whole life wishing to be as elegant as her sister Beatrix so this would be hilarious!
