Awakening [Auron & Aurora]

...

Oron was just sitting down nearby staring out at Lake Hylia. It was the start of a new year and the day was truly beautiful... Driven along by some news he read about, he had actually been slowly making his way... Back home. Back to Hyrule City. Not for any sort of triumphant return of a prince long thought dead, but for a more mundane reason... Well. Provided nothing went wrong as he deeply feared. He has been wandering all around the Lanaryu Province for some time now, yet he hadn't really paid a visit to Lake Hylia. It happened to be along the way he was traveling to get back to the City so he decided it'd be a good time to admire the view.

Oron had pondered paying a brief visit to Zora's Domain to see what shenanigans would happen. Early in the morning after he woke up, he ended up noticing something... Or rather someone strange. He saw a woman washed ashore who had definitely seen better days. She looked like a 'normal'... Hylian? Zora? She did have a head of hair that was of a strange color... A deep shade of blue. He had never seen anything like it. There wasn't really any time to gawk over her, though, so he had pulled her onto land and to where his campsite was for the time being. She was actually still alive and breathing thankfully... He did cast Fresh Breeze over her just in case there were some hidden wounds that it could help with. Her clothes were soaking wet and she also had a sword on her... He luckily hadn't packed up his camp yet, so he made a new fire while keeping a close eye on her... It would be very awkward, but he also had to do something to get her clothes dry. He immediately pulled a blanket over her! A few hours had passed and it was around noon when she finally began to awaken...

Oron had spent some time looking over her sword out of curiosity and had simply laid it down near him as well as her... Now mostly dried clothes. It would take too long if he tried to do it the 'normal' way so he had to bring out the magic to speed things along. He slowly turned his head towards her, azure being met with a bright, icy blue. "... Uh. Hey there. You're awake I see. How are you faring?" He almost wanted to make a quip about 'better places to take a nap', but... Time and place. Time and place...

"Pull me out of the air crash... Pull me out of the lake 'cause I'm your superhero... We are standing on the edge..."

Oron tilted his head. She barely seemed to react to his presence. Not a single word spoken... Just a mere nod. Also rather strange. Oron would reach for the clothes and would walk over to hand them to her. "These are your clothes. They should be fine to wear again. Your sword over there is still in fine shape too." After handing the clothes to her, he would turn away. Whatever happened to her...? Or is this just how she is? He didn't know for certain if this actually was 'normal' for her or not.

He supposed it wouldn't hurt to ask... "Can you speak still?" He either would hear words or be met with silence. His question would be answered regardless. What to do, what to do...?

She just kept staring at him. "..." Oron was initially met with silence again after he turned around. She did not even remotely step away from him to put her clothes back on from what he was hearing. He was really lucky there didn't seem to be anyone else around because this whole thing already looked a bit weird. A moment passed before he felt a tapping on his shoulder and he turned around... And then she actually spoke. "Oh. It's no trouble. You're lucky that I found you and not some monsters..." Oron gently took the folded blanket from her. At least the clothes weren't actually particularly damaged... Just wet. "My name is Auron. How about you?" He had a feeling about something... He had to unravel some parts of this mystery girl.

Little did he know, though...

Oron tilted his head. There was almost a strange fascination to her... One word despite the mute tone. He then frowned sadly after she shook her head. This certainly was familiar to him... He had no reason to think she was just messing with him. She seemed genuinely troubled. This was... Amnesia. Much worse than what he went through if she couldn't even remember anything of her own name. This was troubling. Where would she go? Does she have any living family? He couldn't just refer to her as... Nothing. Maybe he should give her something to go by for the time being? Until maybe she remembers her real name...?

Oron tapped his foot. Names, names... Luci? No, that'd be silly... Uh... Now he was the one looking confused. "... Okay. Until you remember your name, how about you go by... Aurora?" ... It sounded a little similar to his, but it was also a pretty name! Hopefully it would be acceptable for now, though he had a feeling she'd be fine with anything...

After he made his suggestion, she seemed to ponder over it for a moment before looking... Actually rather happy. Oron didn't even need to hear anything else. Thus, she was now dubbed 'Aurora' for the time being. Also, it seems she actually noticed that the name sounded similar to his own... Even for his 'real' name, it was true... Oron glanced to the side for a moment awkwardly. The reaction was... Precious. Very precious... "Uh. Yeah. What a coincidence... Heh. Heh." He wondered if the name actually sounded familiar or if she just liked it? Regardless, it seems the right words could potentially have her recall parts of her memory.

However, something he probably should've considered ended up happening... She probably hasn't eaten anything in... Who knows how long? He didn't know exactly when she ended up in the situation she was in. Oh dear... Was there anything they could get for food nearby? Oron glanced around the area. Whatever he might've eaten the other night certainly had no leftovers... "You must be hungry... We should look for some food."

"... " Oron cleared his throat. "Let's go then." Oron made a gesture to indicate that Aurora should follow him. His sword was already strapped to his back so he didn't have to do too much preparing for going out. They likely could keep the camp up for now, though Oron would eventually need to pack things up... What was he going to do regarding her, though...? He supposed he'd think about it later. It wasn't the immediate concern.

After making the gesture for her to follow, Oron began to walk off across the land. He did not have a fishing pole on him so... Fishing was not an option. Even if he did, it takes quite awhile to actually... Prepare and cook some. Hopefully they could find something easier around here. Admittedly he did also just want to explore the area. It was all quite a sight no matter where he stood.

Oron just continued walking. He glanced back at her a couple of times. She seemed to be almost in awe at the environment around them. He was relatively quiet himself as... He wasn't exactly sure what he could talk to her about. He glanced around the area a bit. What other sources of food were in the area...? There didn't seem to be a lot of trees... Decisions, decisions... It was a slightly windier day... Innately knowing the exact direction they blew... When he had looked back at her once, he noticed she did seem... Oddly fascinated by how the winds blew.

Oron lightly smiled. "Nice, isn't it? ... Are you noticing anything in the area? Any potential food?" Her amazement could prove to be useful to them... He wasn't entirely sure what there was here... Was he going to end up having to improvise some method to fish without a fishing pole? ... Or they somehow stumble upon someone selling stuff?
