Throughout Oron's journeying, he had normally been well to keep up with any news that he could. The warring against the hordes had indeed continued on as expected as well as a long search to reassemble the mythical Mirror of Twilight... Even in Ordon Village, Oron had surprisingly still stumbled upon the latest of news that has gone throughout Hyrule. One piece of news sent a cold chill up his spine, however... Breaking News: MISSING - Royal Tutor, Ursula von Brandt and a story about a 'sacrifice', search parties looking for her, and preparations for the worst... Ursula was a name that Oron knew more than well from prior to his "death"... A specialized tutor for members of the Hyrule Royal Family who was also one of the leading teachers of the still somewhat new use of magic in Hyrule. Even though Oron was not a child of the King himself, he was not excluded from such tutelage in the slightest. It was through her that he was even able to understand the 'connection' he had... A very particular memory began to come to mind.
A young man who arguably should still be recuperating, still bandaged up, and no less deterred to receive his usual instruction walked into a familiar, mostly empty classroom located within Hyrule Castle at a time that was normally set aside for him specifically. Oron El Hyrule stood in the presence of the one he called Professor for many years now. His face was almost blank, the wounds of that day having left their marks on more than just his body... The deaths of so many people, his uncle... And his own parents who had attempted to save his uncle's life. Burning inside of him was rage that was currently now held at bay by mourning and attempts at focusing himself... "Good day, professor von Brandt. I hope I have not kept you waiting for too long..." His normally cheerful voice was solemn and straight to the point... His uncle's funeral had been held shortly after things calmed down and his own parents soon had their own... It all still felt like a nightmare he wouldn't wake up from, but one he was also determined to face however he could... He had to get stronger... Smarter... He needed to find out what happened so that such a day could never be repeated... He had to protect them... Save them... Learn from them... Isn't that what he had to do...?
