the beauty of hyrule was something to behold. he heard of it spoken before, brief murmurings amongst the people of termina he passed in his travels. he had seen the grace of the land in the blessings of his goddess. but to experience it personally, that was something truly interesting. it wasn't all that it had chalked up to be, he found.
but wherever he went, there was something interesting to find. it seemed to follow him, like a fox nipping at his heels. as if guiding him where to go. thank the goddess above that he blended in quite well with the people of hyrule. it was easy to walk along those who knew not who you were, those who had never seen your face and those who didn't watch your every move like starving vultures.
he had to say, he was quite enjoying living the life of a "poor wanderer". after all, nasim had arrived in hyrule with nothing but the clothes upon his back and a journal he kept tucked away within the fabric. to go from daily meals within the church to foraging for berries to sate his hunger?
it was exciting.
however, he has one mission today and that is to retrieve a flower for a kind old woman, who allowed him refuge in her home. she was accommodating, considering a strange man was in her garden not minutes before. however, that is the nature of the countryfolk, he supposes.
after getting directions from a surly guard, nasim wanders aimlessly as he does not follow them. if fate would cause him to happen upon the florist, then so shall it be. the strings took him where he needed to be, a course set in stone before he took his first breath.
and fate was a gracious woman today. the closer he grows, the stronger the fragrance. the sound of a bell heralds his arrival, gentle hands pushing his way inside. he hums a tune to himself, golden eyes scanning the shop before he takes to investigating. the flowers here were quite beautiful- vibrant, and it was quite clear to him that they were well-cared for. if they could speak, they would speak of nothing but kindness.
"excuse me," nasim turns on his heels to face the shadow of a man behind the desk, a sly smile tugging at the edges of his lips.
"would you happen to have anything that blooms with a faint glow? something white, or blue?"
