like a great shadow lurking beneath the surface of the dark, gloomy water. ymir is intoxicatingly charming, taking extra care in making sure each word that escapes his mouth drips like honey. it's not in his nature to long for people to herd towards him. no, he is content in thinking that they do and they will. perhaps his ego is a bit inflated. perhaps he longs for curious eyes to linger much longer on him than anyone else in the room. always taking special care to carry himself with an air of captivation, movements graceful and never missing a beat.

there is a part of him, beneath this faultless porcelain exterior he has taken extra care to mold around himself. one that longs for adventure, exhilaration. the thrill of the unknown. but ymir himself, has perhaps allowed his persona to taint what he considers the truth.

it would be a lie if he said- he did not long to be the same exact thing. he does like what he would consider simple things. rock-climbing, diving into deep waters, traversing through the harshest of climates. anything that will put him on the precipice of death. oftentimes, ymir will find himself taking week-long, or even months, excursions into the wilderness alone.

if you crack the surface, you will find that first impressions are not always what they seem.

he pushes the boundaries of what people would consider comfortable. he enjoys the thrill of predator verses prey. to him, making someone reach their breaking point is a game. a challenge. a test. putting people to their limits, testing them... he comes off as almost completely unreadable, and his true intentions are never truly known.

horribly apathetic, almost to a fault. he will jump from job to job, lover to lover, interest to interest. to stay in one place is simply not an option for him, and if he manages to string someone along for the ride, tossing them aside like roadkill is no hard task.

there's an eerie manipulative demeanor about him if you manage to see it. more often than not, he uses his way with words to get exactly what he wants. not wants, but needs. this spider of a man is not above getting close to someone just to take something from them. a bit callous, but he's never been one to truly care about the emotions of others.
