It wasn't out of the ordinary for folks to request food. In the village, it was common practice for such deliveries that it was the founding transportation of goods. This started the postal service and eventually such services that required timely aid to businesses that were utterly in dire need of deliveries. Perci was too familiar in the service, since he himself was a part-time postal worker to the region and beyond. In fact, he managed to do a few errands on behalf of his friends and family, namely Idra due to their closeness with one another. Of course, it wasn't his passion - no, far from it - but it put food on his table and a bit of spending money in his coat pockets.
With the wind beneath his wings and the sun at his back, Perci felt at peace. The weather was fair and well above the clouds, it was hard not to be harmonious at times like these that the bundled package within his talons was practically weightless. A smile turned at the corner of his beak as thoughts went to the night before, something he wasn't entirely expecting but came to his favor as a good time. He wasn't experienced when it came to social outings and even moreso to dating but it was fun and gave him better insight on what he should do if he ever mustered the courage to ask his crush.
Finally, the floating island came into sight, perched upon the clouds as it rode lazily on the breeze. From his distance, he could make out a few skeletal frames of what he might say would be buildings, along with a pretty nice clearing for its surroundings. Also it was a good choice of land, as he thought, for it wasn't extremely far off from the village but just secluded enough to give a Rito some space. It was sort of what Perci did when he chose to live away from home, on a comfortable snowy mountaintop that aided in his ability to remain unseen from the usual frost-ridden culprits.
"Hello!" He chirped, slowing himself to a stall as he hung in the air with a few flaps of his wings. "Pardon my intrusion but I have a food delivery for Letia." Perci didn't know the person other than by name alone and in the village, it was rather hard to keep track of all the inhabitants of the sky. Their people blossom and at such a pace that more floating islands were being sought after. Heck, even Idra had to commission a third school just for the sheer amount of chicks last spring brought about.
