sailing sunsets & rolling tides

There is was - the Sailing Sunset tavern.

It had been a short walk from the regional office and with the brisk evening air that clung to his every breath, Perci ruffled his feathers. The season was at the cusp of change and while most folk did not look forward to the cold weather, the Rito found it refreshing in some respects. For instance, the sweltering days were no longer worrisome on him due to his natural inclination to snowy regions of Hyrule and it often made for a better visual palette on the land from is usual golden haze on the evening sun. It also helped that tonight was a something of a celebration for most and he took it upon himself to take part of such festivities in the form of a blind date. It was very unusually for the Rito, but he figured if he could do this as a way to test his mettle then it was be more easier to approach people in the long run... or at the very least he hoped.

The tavern had been welcoming with the homely glow that shone through the windows and from the noise alone, it was pretty lively with the participants of the night. There was a merriment to folks, often caught up in good chatter and the occasional laugh to mark the light-hearted event. Perci wasn't familiar with the tradition, so to speak but he was open-minded enough to attend, moreso on his own choice. Of course, the thought had crossed his mind on who he would be partnered up with during this lovely outing and naturally the nervousness started to peck at his brain. He walked among the tables until he found the very place he was looking for, along with the person seated.

"Ah, greetings." Perci chirped, able to withhold the anxious tick of pushing down the plumes at top of his head. "I do apologize if I keep you waiting for very long. This area is relatively new to me."
