"Mm. Perhaps," Revyn hummed, giving a small gesture of his head almost akin to a shrug, lacking as he was in the ability to do a normal one. "But it also means I have pure, simple freedom. No expectations, no demands... nothing but my own will,"
That simple sentiment, somehow, stirred something inside Marianne.
“That sounds… happy,” she replied after some deliberation. “Happy” wasn’t a proper word she would have used, but at that time she felt it somewhat appropriate. Perhaps she was actually talking about herself more than about the Keaton.
And to her surprise and delight, the Keaton did allow her to stroke his fur. Marianne hummed happily as she let her slender fingers caressed the fur on the strange creature’s head to nearly down his tail, listening as the Keaton spoke his mind. It was strange, the sensation of his fur. It tickled Marianne’s skin even though her hand was covered in thin hunting gloves, almost as if every strand of his fur was charged with magic.
But there was no denying how soft it felt!
“Teehee, your fur is so soft, Revyn <3”

The Keaton then agreed to help her find her way back to her guards, which raised her heart high. Although it came tanking down once he mentioned that he would like their adventure to be tomorrow. Tomorrow? As in, tomorrow? ‘Let’s see…. This Royal Hunt was supposed to end before sundown, a few hours from now. After that there would be a feast. After that I had planned to review what Emperor Riven had sent to me about our plans, then perhaps linking it to what the Gorons might do. Tomorrow after daily walk and archery training I am to attend the opening of an orphanage in Ordon, then four appointments –I think one is from the Mayor of Termina. Then Lady Victoria had invited to her masquerade which she had prepared for the better part of the month and I think it will take up all evening. I might have to delay sleep so I can review the new Sumptuous Law to be discussed by the council. And the day after I’ll have to leave early so I can attend a Tribal Festival The Gerudo had invited me, in the way perhaps reviewing the draft for a new road through Eastern Faron Woods….’
Marianne gulped, realizing that, really, her whole days had been planned for her. There were just so many things which required her attention and there was only one of her!
“I’ll… try to find time….” and she attempted a smile which would convince no one. Especially not the smart Keaton! “But you are right about finding something when you are not expecting it. Although in this case, I’ll have to thank my horse for making me meeting you, Revyn.” A chuckle, more honest this time, “It is truly as the wise said: there is no bad circumstances or good circumstances –only circumstances. Let us go, then.”
And so, they were about to leave, weren’t they? Marianne made small movements to indicate that she would like to stand up, allowing the Keaton to hop off from her lap should he so chose before Marianne stood up herself. Although if he would rather be picked up and placed on the grass Marianne would do that too, careful to be gentle yet respectful towards the magical being.
“Awww. I didn’t realize how ruined my clothes are,” she commented as she stood, brushing off twigs on her trousers and dusting her cloak off the many leaves and small branches sticking there. “I bet my hair is no different. How do I look?” Her hand ran over her hair and she noted with dismay on how many broken twigs caught by her fingers. With leaves and pieces of wood sticking out of her thick hair, the princess did look a little ridiculous. “Miss Eva will have something strong to say when I get back….”
Slowly, she approached the horse which had been the cause of all this problem before. A few soft words and a pat on his neck, and Marianne gently led the horse by his harness towards the path mentioned by Revyn. She would walk all the way back, she had decided. In no way would she ride this particular horse ever again!
She looked down at Revyn and flashed a sweet smile. “Then, Revyn, we are in your care. Please lead us out of this woods!” The path whence she came seemed less a path and more a disjointed break between the fearsome thickness of the woods. Marianne even doubted that she would go through them again without using the same brute force of the horse which enabled it for the first time. But if Revyn suggested it, then she shall follow.

The Princess had not forgotten her deal, though, for soon she mulled as they slipped through the dense trees, here and there separating shrubs and low-hanging branches so that they could continue.
“What I have wished to try, but could not yet....” she started, pulling the reins of her horse harder after it tried to dart off again, “I honestly don’t know Revyn…. Mmm I have always been fascinated with ancient ruins and old artifacts, so maybe I’d like to explore them?” ‘The sole reason being that more knowledge of my kingdom’s past will help me run it better….’ “Also, I often think a lot about transportation in the sky.” At this the princess suddenly became much more animated, her arms waved energetically. “Imagine, Revyn. A ship which sails over the clouds instead of the waves! It will move as freely as a bird and imagine what new possibilities it will open!” ‘And more opportunities for Hyrule to prosper’

Really, it was that hard for the princess to know just what she wanted to do for herself.
