Let’s Blow Them Up!
Eldin Bridge to the Upper Lanayru Canyon
Midday
Reports of increased monster numbers are often alarming to the common populace, particularly if there is no actual headcount behind it. Without proper details, any piece of ill-gotten news could be devastating to the community as a whole, ergo, it was worth it to provide evidence that was irrefutably true.
Thus, Phoebe Arkwright, the rookie of Monster Research Council, has been tasked with properly detailing the numbers behind the rise in monster activity, particularly north of the Bridge of Eldin.
The bridge itself has seen countless battles over the last century; brutal, bloody wars against monsters that sought the wanton destruction of the Hylian people. Southward, not so far from here, was another battle that Sir Dragelion had controversially championed for the Goron and Hylian peoples.
A truly impressive article, although Sir Dragelion himself is quite… rustic. Not quite the man I’d have sweep off my feet. But no matter how impressive a person was, the sight of the historical bridge truly overshadows the tales and legends. Phoebe sat by the foot of the southern end of the Eldin Bridge, looking northward to the canyon that lay beyond the structure. It was a path fraught with danger and excitement, as well as a few smoke stacks from what the rookie researcher could presume were monster camps.
“I say,” she said aloud, “Now that I think about it, wouldn’t it be troublesome if I didn’t do something about it?”
Naturally, it was safe for her to assume that it would be fine if she interfered a little on her own. Just a little! It wasn’t as if the MRC wasn’t against such things! They were researchers of monsters for the sake of spreading good advice on how to deal with them!
Thusly, Phoebe began to hatch a little plan of her own...
