personality
Incorruptible and headstrong with a heart of gold, Dormagoro is an exemplary warrior in his own right. From an early age, his father and Elder Darunlaszt have instilled an overwhelming sense of righteous in the young Goron with tales of his father and forefathers' deeds of bravery and strength. This of course was rather easy to digest for Dormagoro since the lineage of his family had proudly served the Goron Empire since time's beginning. But loyalty to Goron alone wasn't enough to stifle Dormagoro's prideful nature and rather took an interest in sumo wrestling as most of his brothers had. It was there it molded him into a powerhouse, one of mightiest strength against any opposition and thus became notoriously in his pursuit of challenges. Coming from a strong family, this made Dormagoro strong in will and soul, pushing away all doubts from his mind. In fact, he is rather singular in his goals, mainly due to his lack of scholarly interests and thus renders him a fool from time to time. However, Dormagoro means well in his endeavors to protect his family and people.
appearance
Dormagoro stands at the hulking height of seven foot eight inches and is rather brawny in comparison with your average Goron. His back is encrusted with hard ores of iron, speckled with a light dusting of gold mineral due to his close proximity to the mines. Along with tough exterior he wears a necklace of large beads, rough leather gauntlets with iron studs at the wrist brace and knuckles, followed with thick boots and a youthful mop of wavy white hair. Most of his attire is made from Dodongo leather in which he considers an achievement since such creatures are often the bane of Goron existence. If no one didn't know any better, Dormagoro would be considered what a Goron hero would look like due to his awe-inspiring appearance.
biography
For as long as he could remember, Dormagoro had always been a warrior in heart and spirit. From the early days of his memory, he often struggled with the other children in simple games from playful test of strength to speed rolling across the mountain to see who bested the other. Of course, most of this was done with friendly wagers but there was always an underlying mettle Dormagoro had to test for himself. His family carried a hefty name in heroic renown and duty to the Goron tribe so even as a child, he aspired to carry on such a legacy his lineage offered. As a child, he worked the mines as a simple helper and crushed boulders with his bare hands when he had to. His drive to continually better himself was one quality instilled by Elder Darunlaszt, a person he often looked toward for guidance and wisdom. As he grew older, his strength in himself and resolve grew ten-fold, starting from a humble beginning into something he truly wanted - a warrior.
However, the path of the warrior wasn't so easy. When he was old enough to venture out on his own, Dormagoro left the mines to combat the growing Dodongo infestation at the time and thus gained the title of Lizard Slayer, after a scuffle with four Lizalfos all by his lonesome during his efforts to maintain the peace and prosperity of Death Mountain. It was then his first taste of battle had awakened the warrior bloodline within, a promising bravado that was greatly welcomed by General Nogra when news of his triumph had become the talk among the Sworn Brothers. Yet, just from one victory alone did not make him a true warrior and in order to carry himself honorably in rank and deed, Dormagoro sought after the teachings of sumo wrestling. It was at that point in his young life, he began to understand the importance of brotherhood as a Goron whilst he trained. Years of complete dedication and focus went into his profession, learning from the very best of what sumo offered in hopes it would apply not only to his life but become the guiding hand of his warrior spirit. By the age of 26, Dormagoro had become an accomplished sumo wrestler after 15 years of honing his skills and ability.
Life had truly worked in Dormagoro's favor due to perseverance and hardwork, but the true test had only just begun. Malevolent forces had begun their work on Hyrule and plotted their machinations in every corner of the realm. From the lows of the Lanayru province to the Sky province above, something powerful had lingered in the shadows. Until recently, more monsters have been sighted across the land and with mounting tension of particular discoveries, Dormagoro acted in the defense of his people. He had left sumo wrestling to take his place amongst his brothers as a warrior and carry on the duties his forefathers had done. Under the leadership of General Nogra, the proud Goron brave fought at The Battle of Eldin. This is where his heroic story begins.
