personality
Brash, unruly and quite the hothead, what more could we describe Saphera that could position her in a better light? The Kokiri had always been a wild child, often more troublesome than most children of the forest due to the lack of guidance. Bi had given her best efforts and continues to this day, but Saphe likely shrugs off most serious conversations for the lack of attention and/or care. But, that is not to say she is one without a heart, as most Kokiri do have peculiar passions for nature and their fellow kin, whether they show it or not. Saphe has that issue, unable to communicate her feelings and thoughts into coherent sentences so it's much easier to act strongly against any attempt to do so. Besides, she never gave it any thought since most folk outside of the Grotto would care what a child of the forest thinks since in her eyes, most adults are hopeless fools.
Fortunately, Saphe does hold good relations to few people in Ordon Village, namely the militia leader. This made her evermore headstrong and crass, which in some respects makes the Kokiri rather foolishly brave in the face of danger. She is strong in spirit as with a longing for something more, as noted by her interactions with the locals of Ordon Village and Skull Kids of Faron Woods. Saphe sees herself more than just some kid and despite Bi's complaints, the fairy does support the Kokiri's efforts when she's not recklessly diving into a plethora of mischief.
appearance
As a Kokiri, many people would expect the children of the forest to dress accordingly to their affinity to the magical nature of Faron Woods. Nevertheless, there are few Kokiri children much like Saphera whom forgone the green tunics and fairy garb. Instead, she had chosen clothing similar to the youths of Castle Town dressed in simple t-shirts layered with a simple jacket and joggers that seem slightly larger in size than she would admit. Saphe also carries an unusual mask made of bone, a quirk that is common with Skull Kids in Faron Woods and being at the height of four foot eleven inches, it is somewhat difficult to distinguish between a Skull Kid and Saphe as she wears her mask.
Suffice to say, the young Kokiri appears to be like any child of Castle Town in first glance. Not unless Bi has already broken away from beneath the mask to accompany Saphe openly, like most faeries do with their Kokiri companions. Bi, the fairy and friend, shimmers in a purple glow.
biography
It is uncertain on where history began with the children of the forest. There is many speculation as to their beginnings and existence but the truth had been lost to passage of time. Many of the Kokiri have forgotten such importance to history and thus, lived countless ages without even a thought of what laid beyond their home. Of course, not all the children of the forest lived in blissful ignorance of the world, as few Kokiri had made connections outside their realm as noted by the accounts of fairy children. In fact, one particular Kokiri had been in touch with the world beyond and continued to do so before such dealings were recorded. That child of the forest is simply known as Saphe.
Saphe or better known to non-Kokiri as Saphera Elma, is considered the boss of the Kokiri. She had been with the Kokiri through the ages, often as the leader who sought refuge when destruction was on the brink. While it had been recent since the Kokiri settled in Faron Woods, Saphe had been the pathfinder to ensure the survival of the forest children and committed to the idea that in order to stay ahead of the curve, she must reconnect from time to time. Thus, this leaves us in the present, wherein the self-proclaimed boss frequently ventures out from the grotto to gain a stronger grasp on the state of Hyrule, for the sake of the Kokiri.
miscellaneous
While only a boss in title, Saphe does her best for the safety of the Kokiri, despite them calling her a big meanie. She and a handful of others move openly in the land of Hyrule as Hylian children, whether they be unseen or not, to gather information and give support at their discretion. Saphe's second-in-command, Hem is usually the leader of the grotto during her absence.
