Aaaah... Just another lazy day in the forest... It was honestly kind of boring. Well, every day was like this. Wake up, say hello to everyone, run into the forest haphazardly, get lost, find insects, go back home, and put most of said bugs into his tree house. He lived a fairly uneventful life though. Constant repeats of the same day for sooooo loooong! He needed something else. He had basically already found as many bugs as he cared to remember the names of, scoured the forest for treasure, and even hunted a pheasant! It just wasn't fun anymore. He wanted something new! Something exciting! Really, anything that wanted to violently upset his daily routine would be greatly appreciated. Maybe a giant explosion? Forest fire? Random abductions? Maybe the local food migrated away? Oh! Giant attacking tree monsters! Aaah... If only...
With a huff, the boy would sit up and stretch his arms. He had been sitting on a tree stump in a rather small clearing. The sun poured through the tree leaves with elegant poise or something like that. Really, it looked nice but whatever... That was besides the point! Now wasn't the time to be lazily laying around! Nope, now was the time to march forward into the forest and find true adventure an- Wait, where was Voonie? The boy would look around the clearing, squinting into the nearby brush to see the glow of his fairy companion. That was odd, he was usually always following him from behind like a stalker! Or, er, babysitter... One of those was more accurate than the other but also he was really bad at the one he was accurately betraying... Inaccurately...? Wait, that was besides the point!
"Vooooooooniiiiiiiiiie! Where are yoooooooou? Hey, cooooome out! We have to go on an adventure!" Viche would shout out into the forest. A gently sigh escaping the boy as he crossed his shoulders in thought. He'd hum gently before making up his mind. If he were to go alone, he'd be just fine with that! So, with a haphazard woop he'd run into the forest. He'd jump over bushes and roots, duck under low hanging branches, and skid around trees blocking the path. If this wouldn't cause Voomie to show up, nothing would! And, well, it did. The auburn glow of his fairy faintly glowed in the distance behind him. Viche would grin, shouting out "Hey! Hurry up, catch me if you caaaaan!" to the fairy. He was having fun now, imagining Voomie to be some tyrant! He would be running away, princess in tow and off to safety! Maybe he'd be ruled a hero, even a king! It'd be so co-
Viche would stop, his breath caught in his throat. The forest just ended. He'd exhale loudly, a happy smile on his face. Wait, was this really the end of the forest? Ah! He had never been this far out before! He was about to take a step out from under the brush line but soon a glowing orb smacked into his face. With a startled yelp and jump back, Viche would stare dumbfounded at his fairy companion. "Nope, absolutely not! I might give you a lot of slack but it's dangerous out there you know!" the boy would pout, crossing his arms and staring at his fairy. Why was he suddenly being good at his job? He wanted to just go run in the field or something! Maybe find a new bug! Ah, or see a person!?
"Oh Voonie pleeeeeeease? Only for a few minutes?" he'd ask, puppy dog eyes and pouting lip to their maximum capacity.

"Absolutely not! I'd be failing even more at my job than I normally do if I did. I'd be a shamed fairy." Voonie would respond with a stern voice. His kokiri could certainly be a hand full.
"But its the outside! Kokiri never get to go outside! I want to go outside! Maybe we'll have an adventure and save a princess or something!" Viche would say with an eccentric tone to his voice, practically about to jump forward if not for another smack to the face by Voonie.
"Kokiri don't go outside because it's dangerous outside! We are perfectly safe in the grotto. I say we return and take a nap, maybe drink some warm milk! Let's go now." Voonie'd say with a somewhat edge to his voice. Truth be told he didn't like being this close... What if he was stuffed in a bottle? Ick...
But, alas, Viche wouldn't be so easily persuaded. He'd huff and puff and fight with Voonie. Really, he just wanted an excuse to be free of this cage of trees. There was the outside! It had no trees thus it couldn't be a cage! In fact it was the opposite of a cage! An uncage! Really, he'd probably never give up until he was about to pass out or starve or something...
