[attr="class","section"]the appearance
Oron stands at around 5'11" (181 cm) in height and is of a rather solid build. His musculature is more lean rather than bulky, which can make his strength rather deceptive when he pulls off feats of it. His build honed through a few years of training with the Guard alongside his (at the time) arrogant older cousin, then developing further over the past near-year of travel and the search for adventures. His skin is of a rather pale color despite his journeys and like every Hylian, he possesses the distinct pointy ears. His most striking features are likely his lengthy, fiery red hair and his contrasting icy blue eyes that can give quite a piercing glare.
His primary attire he wore during his journeying consisted of some long sleeved robes, slacks, boots, some light armor, and a cloak with a hood that he commonly pulls over his head for an extra precaution regarding his identity. He also carries his share of items on him with most of them in a magical bag, such as his lute. His main piece of weaponry, his trusty sword, is also visibly carried on his back in a sheath. Underneath this outfit lies several scars across his body, hence his general preference for more concealing outfits. They have their stories behind them...
Following his return home, Oron's outfits have grown more varied as well as sporting the choice of more 'regal' attire to wear if he has to look his best for certain events.
[attr="class","section"]the personality
Oron is a rather unusually casual young man considering his high status. He is generally polite and kind to most others and usually does not fret over formalities too much unless they are absolutely necessary for one reason or another. He certainly knows his manners and can flex them as a result. He has a strong sense of justice and work ethic which aid in any duties he has as one of the survivors of Hyrule's Royal Family. That being said, he cannot deny a desire to simply roam free and let go of everything that troubles him. This was demonstrated pretty well during a time in which he found himself struck with amnesia following his supposed death during the Battle of Eldin. He was unusually at peace and simply enjoyed roaming around Hyrule to see the sights, explore and find goodies, learn from the people he met, and so on. Even after his memories began to return, he struggled over if he even wanted to return to his old life or continue to live as more of a vagabond. The experience eased him of any lingering issues living the life of a prince inevitably had on how he perceived others. Alas, what truly lingers inside of his memory is a severe source of trauma... The Starlight Tragedy was a day that permanently changed Oron as a person and said change was not necessarily a good one. The deaths of his parents, uncle, and numerous innocent civilians even as he fought with his all caused a darkness to take hold in his heart, but it was one that he eventually overcame thanks to his sheer willpower and the support of his friends and allies. The revival of his parents through a subconscious wish to the Triforce only helped further the calming of his aching heart.
Oron is also plagued by nightmares and hearing what seemed to be the voices of the dead pushing for him to get revenge. Another voice that seems to be his own thoughts, yet possibly not began to speak more openly on his darker desires that he tries to keep buried in his pursuit of more heroic goals. Even as he began to grow colder and more ruthless in his desire to achieve said goals... Yet, as he finally reaches the end of what he has spent the last few years desiring most, he begins to wonder what it all means for him in the end and if he'll ever return from the darkness he has surrounded himself in... Even as his rage seems close to finally overtaking his rationality for good.
During the year spent away prior to him returning to the royal life, Oron developed a rather practical mindset and learned to make use of nature rather effectively for survival. It also helped him develop ways of thinking of more creative solutions to problems. Another likely surprising element of his character considering his upbringing. Due to his upbringing, Oron enjoys simple freedoms and training to keep up and possibly further bolster his strength. He is also reasonably book smart and educated thanks to his magical studies as well as what was long expected of him as a prince.

[attr="class","section"]background
Oron was born as a member of the Hyrulian Royal Family to the younger brother of Daphnes El Hyrule VI and Theia de Hyrule, Jonathan El Hyrule. Unlike Aunt Theia and his unknown other cousins, Oron and his parents remained in the life of the Royal Family as his father had a noteworthy presence in Hyrule City with an esteemed history behind him. Oron possessed much innate potential and was blessed (or perhaps cursed) with a very curious mind. Despite his station in life, Oron was noted for possessing a fairly kind, if somewhat ignorant heart, which contrasted with his eldest cousin who had a cruel, arrogant heart while they were growing up. Oron found Leon irritating and it seemed his uncle and aunt never bothered to notice his increasingly cruel behavior. Oron, for his part, remained somewhat reclusive in his training and studies for a good chunk of his life with his parents overseeing a lot of his life to an almost excessive degree. It took years before his uncle was finally fed up with his behavior and forced Leon to join the Guard. While Oron hadn't done anything to earn such a "punishment" as he was a rather well behaved lad who focused a lot on his studies and other activities that caught his interest, he also requested to join Leon in the Guard for the sake of "expanding his horizons". While Leon had a rather rough time, Oron found the experience (including watching Leon gradually be humbled by the other soldiers) fascinating. While Oron's own royal status was never temporarily rescinded, he didn't receive any special treatment either, which did humble him in a more low key way and only served to exacerbate his curiosity about the world outside as he did live a sheltered life beforehand. The times went on with various triumphs and Leon finally got over his various negative traits much to Oron's delight. Alas, around a year ago, his uncle as well as Oron's own parents died in what is now called the Starlight Tragedy from the efforts of assassins taking advantage of the chaos that ensued from the monsters assaulting the town. Despite a somewhat strained relationship with his parents and even his uncle to a degree, something inside of Oron seemed to snap that day as he went on a violent rampage against the attacking monsters, almost getting himself killed in the process. He also tried to find the assassins in his rage to little avail...
The year went on in something of a haze for Oron as he tried to distract himself from all of the grief he felt, but during an especially horrible invasion by an empowered army of Monsters, Oron took to the battlefield once more in an attempt to drive off the hordes. During what became known as the Battle of Eldin, Oron supposedly perished in the fighting, which lead to a severe drop in morale for the group he was apart of, but the battle continued on and eventually the Monsters were defeated. In truth, Oron had actually survived the battle with nobody able to find his body. His memory appeared to have been mostly wiped, likely due to the machinations of a Wizzrobe or a heavy injury to his head. Or both perhaps? He regained consciousness and wandered away still heavily wounded aimlessly for a little while before he inevitably collapsed again. Some time passed and he was found by some travelers who were unaware of his true identity, but still treated his wounds and gave him a lift to the nearest town. At the time, all Oron could really remember was his first name and instinctively recalling his abilities, such as in swordplay... Though he spelled the name "Auron" instead whenever he had to write it down. Uncertain of where to even go now, Oron had unwittingly sought to fulfill one of his dreams growing up... Exploring all of Hyrule. Thus, after acquiring some resources through working some odd jobs as well as with whatever money he had left on him, he was soon off on an adventure.
A few days soon turned into nearly a year passing, which during that time, Oron, now going by "Auron Fulbright", had slowly regained the fragments of his memory, fully recalling everything that had happened and who he truly was. Alas, he was a rather far distance from home now, though he remembered why exactly he wanted to go on his travels in the first place. His journey to understand the world and people around him better as a more sheltered and later military life was not quite the same... Thus, he decided to continue with his journeying until he thought the time would be right to return home... Or at least having found something extraordinarily interesting. He would see many new places and meet more new people, although nobody would learn that much about him before he soon disappeared with the winds to his next destination. Life continued on, however, and a LOT has happened since he's been gone...
As if fate willed it, the very next Starlight Festival had him run into Ursula von Brandt, the Royal Tutor for the Royal Family and a personal confidant, who had recently been saved by a team who had gone into the Arbiter's Grounds, and saw Oron, somewhat accidentally, unveiling himself to her. The consequences of this will likely be seen soon enough... He has a lot of catching up to do with his return and he'll likely be needed now more than ever.
