The White Prince rode atop his pure white stallion as he entered the outskirts of Ordon Village. A quaint little town. Quiet, peaceful, out of the way... it was nothing like the hustle and bustle of the large Castle Town that he was so very used to. He could see why people would choose to live here, farmers and ranchers especially. He smiled that same smile he always had as his horse trotted through the village. His horse turned a few heads, but its rider looked plain.
Aside from his brilliant blonde hair and handsome features he was blessed with, he looked the same as any other. He hadn't worn anything particularly fashionable or fancy today. He wore practical clothes. His sword was strapped to his hip, his shield strapped to the horses side. He wore a simple white undershirt and a blue shirt over it, with tan pants and brown boots. At the ends of his hands were brown fingerless gloves with wrist guards, clearly used in swordfighting. An adventurers outfit, one he'd worn during his time with the Hyrule Guard. But it was fitting for travelling, too. One never knew when they might get attacked by the wild monsters that roamed Hyrule.
Of course, the prince was not alone. He had an escort with him, two elite knights of Hyrule. They too were dressed in similar looking outfits, intended not to draw much attention. They, however, rode different horses. One was black, the other was a brown throughbread. Perfect for the long trips that knights typically had.
"My lord." One of the knights spoke up. Leon turned his head towards the man, raising an eyebrow. "Yes?" He replied. "Do you really think this is a good idea? Coming to such an out of the way town yourself -- it should be a job for one of the stablemen, your highness." The knight replied. Leon chuckled. They certainly were loyal, weren't they? "Yes, I'm aware. And I thank you for your concern, however I wanted to get away from the castle for a bit. Being cramped up behind those walls too long makes me stir crazy." The knight smiled. "I understand, your majesty. Please forgive my rudeness." Leon waved his hand in dismissal. "Oh, you weren't rude at all. Don't worry about it."
"And by the way, please don't address me in such a manner while we're here, okay? The last thing I want is for these people to think I'm using my status to try to bully them when I negotiate price with them. That just looks bad for business." Leon spoke once more, and the knights nodded. "Yes, My Lord!" They spoke in unison, and Leon sighed a little. He only hoped that these people were as friendly as he'd heard, but he had no reason to doubt the information that was given to him.
He walked up to the gate of "Dragonsflame Ranch" and dismounted his horse off the left side. His knights were about to follow, but then Leon had a thought. Three armed men walking into a ranch? What kind of message would that send? "Sir Kururugi, Sir Lamperouge." Leon spoke. The knights turned back to him. "Yes, sir?" They asked, and Leon pointed to the main part of Ordon. "Why not go relax and enjoy yourselves? I'll handle this on my own." The knights seemed stunned. "B-But your high-" "Don't argue. I'll be back soon. I'm more than capable of defending myself, I assure you."
The knights nodded, not wanting to follow the order. But they had no choice. He was their prince, after all. The turned and made their way back to Ordon, and Leon pushed the gate to the ranch open and made his way inside. Walking up to the main house, he'd knock firmly on the front door with his back knuckles. "Hello?" He'd ask. "I'm looking for a place to buy livestock. I heard the owners of this ranch may be able to assist me."
