Many words could be used to describe Leon. Loyal, Confident, Charming, Leader, Stubborn, Brilliant. And all of these words are accurate. Born into royalty, Leon in his younger years had a sense of superiority over others. He felt he was better than them. He had the divine right to rule, to command someone and they'd follow his every whim. Such was the right given to him for having the title 'Eldest Prince of Hyrule'.
Though this has changed as he matured and grew older. Serving in the military taught him loyalty, humility, and the true dangers of the battlefield. He saw more than one of his brothers die, and being a prince made no difference in his treatment. He had been lucky enough to survive, a combination of luck and his skill saving his life on multiple occasions.
Now, he is more humble. He trusts his subordinates completely, and is much more down to Earth. He treats everyone equally despite being royalty and he prefers to be treated the same. While he understands that will never completely happen, he doesn't like having to throw his royal status around unless it's absolutely necessary.
He will defend those under his command from criticism, taking it for them in their place. They're his subordinates after all, acting as his divine will. Why wouldn't he defend them? That's how he looks at it, anyways. When it comes to the citizens of Hyrule, he is benevolent. He is more than willing to give others a second chance and is willing to draw his blade in defense of his people. A natural leader, it isn't hard for him to get people to rally behind him.
A shame that he was born a man, his father had said. For he could not take the throne, he'd have made an excellent ruler. Though he does not hold any animosity towards his sister for this. In fact, he loves her all the more. And so he wants to be there, a guiding pillar of light and protection so that she may lead their people to prosperity. He is deathly protective of his siblings and is more than willing to die for them. If he cannot rule, then he shall ensure that his sister will be able to rule to the best of her ability, with his help if need be.
He is incredibly patient, more than willing to wait for the right time to achieve his goals. He is in near perfect control of his emotions, and rarely gets angry. Though if one does rouse his anger... they will find that his brilliant mind can come up with quite a few creative ways to kill a man.

[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]APPEARANCE
[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
Leon is a handsome man, most would say. He has brilliant blonde hair and sea blue eyes. And he has a jawline that is sure to draw heads. All in all, his face fits his head perfectly, and he knows it. He's not afraid to flaunt his good looks to win over a lady, though he doesn't do it often. Much like all Hylians, he bares tipped elf like ears.
He stands at 6'0, and weighs in at 160 pounds. He has several gruesome scars along his torso and back from his time in the military, though his face thankfully remains unscathed.

[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]BIOGRAPHY
[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
Born into the Hyrulian Royal Family, Leon was naturally gifted intellectually. A brilliant mind coupled with wisdom beyond his years, he was destined for greatness from the start. His father has mentioned to him several times that he wished he was born a woman, so that he could've succeeded him. But as per royal tradition, the first born daughter takes the throne.
Leon was arrogant, at first. He believed himself to be higher than 'puny commoners' and he was willing to prove it. He made many enemies during this time, but most of the adults simply attributed it to his being a hauty spoiled child. His parents, the king and queen, did not take notice of this at first. Though this was made clear when he got older and began issuing more bold and erratic orders to those that annoyed him, even going so far as to order the exile of one who had insulted him. Eventually, his father had enough and ordered him to join the guard, hoping that the military would teach him humility and manners.
His father was right. Leon was beaten more than once by his fellow soldiers in the guard for insulting them, and they cared little about his royal status. It had been rescended during his time in the guard. To them, he was nothing more than another commoner willing to die for the crown. After he finally got it through his head that they didn't fear him, he made friends with them. He fought with them, trained with them, ate and slept with them. They were his second family.
And then he had his first real battle. Stabbed through the stomach by a moblin, he learned what it really meant to fear death. He stared death in the face and realized that he was no god. No king. He was just human, like the rest of them. How could he order people to war like this? How could he be expected to lead if he couldn't even defend himself?
For five years he served as a guard, and eventually his royalty status was returned when he met his father again. Satisfied with how he'd grown, he was a prince of Hyrule once more, and now serves as one of his fathers commanders of the military.
