Josh's Inventory
equipment
• Dragelix | A longsword once wielded by the Knight of Labrynna Segnorus Dragelion, taken by his son Josh Dragelion from the ruins of their ravaged farm upon his death. Its pommel has a blue gemstone placed within. The sword has a hilt forged with blue scales, and a guard laced with a golden color and a design meant to mimic a dragon's wings. Damaged from years of use, the blade itself was broken down and re-forged in the smithy within Death Mountain using stronger ore, tempering it and giving it a red and orange hue.
• Elivaex | Josh’s second bow, though the first to be built for combat. Forged from Death Mountain’s best steel, Elivaex is a longbow built to last no matter how strong the grip. Its body is shaped in several arcs, with a light blue color and jagged edges.
• Armor of the Dragon | In the fires of a red hot volcano, on a mountain far away, Josh enlisted the aid of the Gorons to craft a set of plate armor that would allow him to withstand any that Hyrule’s enemies threw his way. It is medium weighted and laced with chainlink and cloth. The armor is black in color, complimented by black gauntlets and boots. Its centerpiece, as well as the blue cape that flows behind it, bear the crest of the Royal Family of Hyrule.
• Hand-Spun Rancher's Tunic | Spun by Josh himself. Made of sheep's wool and dyed a brilliant blue, it serves as an attire for outings where combat isn't necessary. It's well-made and quite snug, but probably isn't something to wear at fancy gatherings.
• Adventurer's Pouch | A magic bag commonly sold in towns. It is able to hold an incredible amount of items, so long as they are of reasonable size, from bottles to weapons without weighing down the user. Should the user reach inside, what item they pull out is decided by what the user's mind feels it needs. Should they not be thinking of anything, the item they pull out will be random.
• Ocarina | An ocarina that belonged to Josh's mother, Serana Dragelion. It's one of the few mementos left from his family, which he cherishes dearly.
• Bladed Boomerang | A Boomerang which can be thrown to hit switches or stun enemies before returning to the user. Can be locked on to multiple targets when the user has proper practice with it. Josh has wielded this Boomerang since his days in Clock Town, and later upgraded it into a Bladed Boomerang with the help of a forge. Not only does it now inflict damage in addition to its original effect, but it can also be used as a makeshift dagger in close combat.
• Clawshot | Perfect for grabbing things or for clinging to surfaces. The Clawshot is able to precisely shoot a claw that can latch onto things, and either bring them back or send the wielder flying toward them.
• Bombs | Explosives that can be thrown, rolled or used in many different ways. Be sure to get out of the way before it explodes!
• Roc's Glider | An invention inspired by the capabilities of the Roc's Feather. The Roc's Glider is worn as a tiny, hard to see package on the wearer's back. With a press of a button the wearer is able to use the magic glider not to just shoot themselves up into the air higher then a jump could do, but also allows the wearer to glide through the air. Beware strong winds.
• Empty Bottle (x1) | Bottles can hold many objects! Characters with one can start a thread with a variety of things in the bottle, which include anything from Potions to Fish.
• Hawkeye | Need something better then a telescope? Or perhaps you're looking to enhance your aim with a bow? The Hawkeye will allow one to see further distances and zoom in more then a normal telescope could! Just remember if you're using it for combat, it takes time to use the Hawkeye and adjust it, leaving you open for attack.
• Super Picto Box | Aspiring photographers will love this! The newest development in Picto Box technology has arrived with not only the ability to take full color pictographs, but it can now record footage for up to ten seconds! The sleekest model yet, shaped like a tablet! A printer may be able to develop the pictographs to frame, though videos can only be viewed on the Picto Box itself.
magic tiers
• Din (Specialty) | Expert
passives
• Din Initiate | The Din Initiate becomes resistant to fire and magic pertaining to Farore.
• Din Novice | The Novice has grown capable of sensing nearby movements on the ground without effort.
• Din Apprentice | The Apprentice’s natural body heat rises, increasing their resistance to cold and making them radiate heat like a warm blanket. They become more resistant to scorching heat like that of Death Mountain, but will still feel fatigue after a while.
• Din Adept | The Adept’s natural strength is significantly increased and the flames they produce are hotter than before. Their stone-related spells hit harder and last one more turn. They are also sturdier and can resist Farore’s winds easier.
• Din Expert | The Expert has become callous to the heat of flames and cannot be burned or set alight unless by their own volition. The rocks they create are as strong as the mountains, and their durability is increased significantly. They are acclimated to the heat like that of Death Mountain and can stand being around deep lava pools.
spell list
• Flammable Fingertips | The user is able to conjure a small flame on their fingertips, great for lighting candles or minorly flammable material.
• Project Heat | Projects magic to provide heat of a chosen temperature to an object. Can be used from a short distance.
• Pyro Puppet | Allows the caster to slightly manipulate the shape of a lit flame. A fun magic trick for the kids.
• Burning Shot | This spell allows the caster to form orbs of fire in their hands and launch them at their opponents. They can either be shot from the palm, mouth, or thrown. Can be charged for more power but doing this takes time.
• Din's Touch | Can set weapons or parts of the body aflame, or make them as hard and durable as rock. The user will not be harmed by their own flames. This effect is indefinite but will feed on the user's energy until it is cancelled.
• Searing Snap | The user snaps their fingers, causing a small burst of flames to erupt at a location of their choice, so long as the user can see it.
• Warm Embrace | A warmth overwhelms the subject as the user's magic heals their wounds. Can be used on self or others. The stronger the healing, the more energy it takes.
• Din's Fire | The user is able to project their pyrokinetic energy into a blast of fire that radiates around the user. It has a three turn cooldown. Range can be improved with practice.
• Flamethrower | Allows the user to fire streams of flame from their palms or mouth. Can be held indefinitely but drains the user's energy quickly.
• Trial By Fire | The user's body is cloaked in flames, scorching hot to all but the user. Commonly used in melee combat. Lasts three rounds, but afterwards requires three more before it can be used again.
• Gleeok Blast | The user unleashes a blast that while painless, will stun the opponent for a round. Has a five round cooldown.
• Din's Blessing | The user is able to speed the growth of plant life, from crops to flowers without adverse effects.
• Strength of Titans | An adrenaline rush of sorts, as what feels like the strength of legendary titans flows through one's body. Strength Of Titans temporarily increases the attack power and focus of the caster for three turns, though the user is temporarily weakened and tired when it wears off. Can only be used once per thread.
• Dinraal's Breath | The expert exudes a forceful blast of roaring fire from their mouth that incinerates dry material and blows apart weak structures. May push targets back and set them alight. May incite fear in weaker-willed monsters or creatures.
• Firestorm | The caster launches an explosive fireball into the air. Upon detonation, it spreads into a group of smaller fireballs that rain upon their opponents.

• Buddy | A large dog breed with golden fur, Buddy was saved by Josh as a puppy from monsters and nursed back to health. Adopting him, Josh would later train Buddy to aid him with his hunts. Buddy has proven to be a reliable companion, able to quickly sniff out and charge a target when prompted. His tracking skills are sound and has been the backbone of many of their hunts. Outside of hunting though, Buddy is a very excitable, energetic dog that thrives in having room to run around in Dragelion Ranch. Josh has a strong bond with Buddy, who is always excited to see him come home and will attempt to knock him down. Knows how to get what he wants when food is involved, and is a constant beggar. Always wants to sleep on the bed.
• Cabuck | A large horse breed with a chestnut coat and a white mane, Cabuck was bred to serve as a horse for war, but its breeder found its results were lacking despite the horse's youth. Deciding to put the horse down and start over, the breeder was run off by Josh, who took in the horse - now called Cabuck, and began to train the horse himself. With a bit of extra love and care, Cabuck's potential shined through and he proved to be a swift and durable horse that Josh would later take with him to many battles, as well as rely on to pull wagons and bring the month's harvest to town. While Cabuck can have an attitude at times, Josh's bond with Cabuck is unbreakable, and Cabuck is unwaveringly loyal to his master.
• Porker | A pink-colored pig with black spots, this troublesome oinker had destroyed the fencing of the ranch repeatedly and gotten into the crops. Instead of cooking them though, Josh's soft heart led him to give the porker a home. Soon enough, the oinker began to behave a bit better, and even began finding truffles that fetched a pretty penny. Sometimes Josh will take Porker out into Faron Woods to give it some exercise and hunt for truffles, but otherwise the carefree oinker is content to laze about all day with the livestock, eat and roll in mud.

• Splintered Wooden Hunting Bow | What's left of Josh's wooden hunting bow after it was destroyed by a monster at the Starlight Festival. It had been his secondary weapon since his original adventuring days, and also helped with hunting after his retirement as a swordsman. With every kill, he would cut a notch on it. Upon being snapped in half, Josh had it glued back together and due to its fragility, retired the bow and hung it on the wall as a memento.
