Abilities



Shapeshifting - A technique learned through Shapeshifting School, Chase is able to change into almost any form accompanied by a cloud of smoke. After Korn unlocked part of his potential, Chase became able to actually take on much of the strengths of the forms he could take. While theoretically this could be a massive well of ability, due to time he’s only fully trained in two. These being:



T-Rex— A large, strong form that is physically the strongest he has. He is unable to channel ki like this, given all his power is going to size and strength.



Namekian— Basically a Namekian version of himself, Chase is able use stretching limbs, regenerate those lost while in this form (cant regrow anything lost outside this form), and his usually Whirlwind Punch is traded for a tight, long range beam.



Whirlwind Punch - Chase is able to channel ki into a punch, creating a short range blast of spiraling energy. 



Appearance



Chase is a human earthling who stands about 5’10” with short reddish hair and a goatee. He has a lean, muscular build. Usually he can be found wearing a black and white jacket with a Ryu School logo, black shirt, and jeans with a set of red gloves, though he does have a black and blue gi representing the Ryu School. Of course being a shapeshifter he can and does take on various shapes and forms, most often animals to either surprise or escape a bad situation, or tools that might be needed.



Personality



Chase is a wily sort, always thinking of ways to get the upper hand, figure out a problem, or if need become a problem. He often seems optimistic to a fault, convinced there's no problem that can't be solved somehow. He also really seems to enjoy staying around where things aren't too quiet, seeming to actively try and avoid it. As a fighter Chase is very persistent, not seeming to know concept of "You've been beat," and will keep going even when injured.



Chase can be overconfident in his own plans, and a bit of prankster, willing to use his shapeshifting to get a lighthearted laugh. His optimistic nature can also throw him headlong into situations he’s not ready to handle. He does have some lingering doubts about himself compared to the others, which can sometimes drive him to make rash decisions.



Bio



- Chase was born and raised outside West City.

- He met a shapeshifter at a young age, peeking his interest.

- He would end up enrolling in Shapeshifting School, throwing himself into learning, and would be attending during the Namekian Invasion.

- Shortly before finishing his classes, Chase would start wanting to study martial arts in case anything like the invasion happened again, and would begin training at the Cailan Donshi's Ryu School.

- He's since found himself basically thrown into a new world, learning about much of the world outside his usual training, and quick to take up helping any way he could.
