[attr="class","section"]Personality
55 is a cold, calculating, and devastatingly powerful android driven to bursts of madness. Still, she desperately clings to what is left of her humanity, fighting back a personality damper that was installed in her system ages ago. Because the dampener still operates on low voltage, she often speaks in a monotonous, computerized tone of voice. Additionally, her expression does not change very often, although folks may think she is perpetually conniving.
Still, her humanity stops her from harming other sentient life forms until they pose a threat.
Speaking of her humanity, Fifi is a shy, cowardly crybaby who does her best to make a good impression of herself. She hates conflict, but if it can't be avoided, she allows her computer side to take the initiative.
Following the deletion of her personality dampener, 55 remains cool, calm, and collected. She's sharp as a tack, with far less psychopathic tendencies than the average android. She is quick to process information as things develop, but she is a little awkward talking about herself.
[attr="class","section"]Abilities
Ki Flight: 55 is capable of flight via propulsion engines embedded in her wrists, back, and ankles.
Disguise Shift: 55 may change her physical appearance to another of the same sex. Her cellular makeup allows her to transform into any body shape.
Strategic Computation: Due to a mini-supercomputer installed in her brain, 55 is capable of observing and learning new strategies to approach targets, and eliminate useless data. She may ascertain an individual’s power level when necessary, along with store data using 80% of her human brain capacity.
Unlimited Endurance: As an infinite energy model, 55 does not require sleep or food, and may operate without feeling tired. However, she still needs to intake water in order to keep her humanoid base in top condition.
Weapon Morphing: 55’s extremities may morph into different weapons as needed. They each take on a silvery, metallic appearance. Prefers bladed weapons.
High Constitution: 55 can tank powerful blows that would fell the sturdiest of Earthlings.
Critical Repair: When she is critically damaged, she will need to take time to repair herself by consuming (or absorbing) various kinds of materials for different internal components. She may also use a pain dampener in order to continue fighting in critical condition.
Carbon Fiber Production: Thanks to her training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, 55 is capable of creating carbon fiber armor that allows her to withstand extreme gravity fields for long periods of time. As carbon is an element that's abundant on Earth, she can create carbon fiber some time after consuming the resource.
Nanomachine Weapons: Developed by Fifi in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, the AI is capable of creating projectile weapons capable of firing concentrated, concussive ki from the barrels. The attacks are designed to weaken or disable opponents, rather than kill them. However, if the moment arises, and targets must be eliminated, the ki blasts are replaced with bullets with high piercing potential.
Rubber Layer: After weeks of tweaking in the HTC, Fifi created a thin rubber layer beneath 55's skin to prevent a resist electric discharges. However, it is only a resistance, and does not completely nullify the effect of electric overload.
3D Printing: As a perk of being able to create just about anything in her body with a reasonable amount of resources, Fifi can print pieces of complex material after analysis.
Transformations
Overdrive - Stage 1 Limiter Removal
+ Energy Output increase
+ Increased heat generation output
+ Increased nanomachine production
+ Increased physical strength and speed
+ Increased perception
+ Allows weapon metamorphosis
- Susceptible to external damage
- User energy levels need a minute to recover
- Heat retains after usage
- Highly susceptible to stun via electromagnetic charge
Overdrive - Stage 2 Limiter Removal (Post-HTC)
+ Utilizes sleek, body-fitting carbon fiber plating to protect the host while allowing external cooling.
+ Causes carbon production to increase.
+ Allows production of additional appendages.
+ Accelerates computation speed, allowing for predictions of attacks based solely on physics.
- Sudden or instant cooling may cause the armor to become brittle and break away.
- The user is superheated and will cause burns to anything that touches them.
- Cooldown period after use is significantly longer, taking five hours to be fully cooled and safe enough to approach.
[attr="class","section"]Dr. Croak's Notes on Android 55
Entry 1:
"She was a woman with no perceivable reputation or standing. A wretched, walking corpse with no life and meaning, emaciated, abandoned, and close to the shore of Styx.
I showed her kindness. Gave her food, clothing, and shelter. Then, I gave her an offer: to be a vehicle of change to a cruel, unfair world.
She hesitated, as they all did, but humans are driven by purpose. Entitlement. They want to be something greater than themselves, to be useful and productive. Nothing drives the human spirit stronger than knowing you did what you could with the power you were given.
The moment passed, and she agreed--but had enough sentience to ask what sort of change she would bring after the fact.
With a gentle smile, I replied...
'My wrath.'
When she realized the glorious purpose she had, she sat up with beautiful, clear emerald eyes widening in admiration. She wished to get up out of her chair and look around the room.
Yet my faithful, but brash bodyguard Android 49 suddenly descended and struck the woman on her neck. While I was upset that this had happened, 49 explained that he detected hostility from her.
Hostility? Toward me? I dismissed such an asinine thought.
I am a benevolent master. A good master. There is no one that is as generous as I.
Unfortunately, the strike snapped the woman's neck, but 49 gave her an estimated 50-50 chance to live due to her internal spinal cord still being attached to her brain.
... Hm...
Android 55.
It seems like destiny."
Entry 2:
"55 was injected with nutritional supplements to bring vigor back to her emaciated body. In mere days, she was as healthy as a newborn birthed to a beautiful, strong mother. Such a comely face, such an ideal bodily shape, excellent for beguiling filthy minds before their righteous slaughter.
There were currently no drawbacks to the injection--except that she awoke and claimed she couldn't feel anything below her neck. I assured her that she was fine, and that after we begin the cellular conversion, she won't have to worry about such small things.
After she screamed incoherently, we decided proceeded to put her in the converter.
For 55, I decided to make her a sort of 'chameleon.' She will be able to change her physical appearance to that of another woman--perfect for any espionage missions that I deem her worthy to take on. Of course, I gave her a full range of abilities that are standard fare for my androids... along with something special.
... I'll need to do something about that screaming of hers. Her shrill cries startle my poor, warm heart."
Entry 3:
"Cell conversion was successful, along with a new energy core and internal computer installation. 55 has been quiet since her conversion, yet I am assured by 49 that she is merely resting. Cell conversion is a taxing process--but in the end, she will be filled with immense gratitude.
Finally, 55 stirs. I order 49 to unhitch her from the table and to greet me in a manner worthy of me.
He does so, and 55 rises.
Her beautiful emerald eyes, now forever preserved in near-immortality, take in the new world of android-hood.
She gazes at my face.
Her eyes begin to... water.
'What have you done to me?'
Suddenly, overwhelming bloodlust fills the room. Even I, the unfathomable Dr. Croak, could not conceive such ire from an ephemeral android. In an instant, 49 attempts to strike her again, yet she blocks his blow with her wrist. She swings at his body, yet he grabs her wrist.
Despite that... to my shock and horror, she drove a silvery, piercing metal through his body, formed from the high-density cells of 55's own arm.
I could not imagine that her first instinct was to use her special ability... it was almost as if on instinct! I could have rendered praise to myself, but my silly creations were bent on destroying each other.
As such, I calmly used the emergency deactivation code to render 55 inoperative.
It seems I will need to install a personality dampener before she sees any action in the field... and fill the hole she left in 49. Such a useless creature."
Entry 4:
"The dampener was installed, yet to my displeasure, attempting to activate 55 with the dampener operating causes the core to shut down. I perceive that whatever is causing this malfunction is an internal error, but if I shut down the dampener, her core runs just fine. I've attempted to install cores of older quality, but they cannot handle the workload I've already installed... the best the original one can do is operate on low frequency—but I do not trust that it is enough.
Must I really develop a core to facilitate everything I've envisioned for you?
55, you are beginning to test my patience. I am your creator, your master! I will not and cannot be denied!
Hmph, but time has run out and the day of reckoning is soon. I will have to put your project on hold in favor of humbler subjects... as such, you are far too dangerous to be let out of your chamber. Such a shame that you are so very stubborn."
