A hard worker who loves his job as a fisher, Dara can sometimes seem a bit serious to those that catch him while he's focused on fishing, but outside of this he's actually pretty fun loving and laid back. This can be seen most often when he's off treasure hunting or hanging out outside the job, and is more risk taking at the same time. He's quite willing to fight for what's his too, no matter how out match he might be, and thanks to him showing signs of magic as gain a fascination in subject, though he is overconfident in these skills, and is still a novice at best.

Dara Loch is a Hylian who grew up on near Hylian Lake. Growing up his family would teach hime how to fish on the lake, often selling their catch to local Zora in the region. He has continued to follow in his parents' footsteps, getting very good at using his fishing spear to make a living.

As a child Dara would also gain a love of treasure hunting, and would get pretty good at scouring the area around the lake, and finding some little treasures and trinkets, including his first find that he keeps on him, a tarnished locket. He would also discover another talent while off fishing. Dara found that he had a talent for Nayru magic, and e would start figuring out how to use it to help him both in his job, and while off treasure hunting.
