Scoria is a rough-around-the-edges hardened individual. She seems to constantly be in motion, as if she can never find one place to remain in for long. Fire-hearted and wild, Scoria stays clear of towns and settlements when she can and prefers to be alone.[break][break]With a raging temper and a sharp tongue, Scoria has a hard time making friends. She doesn’t mean to be so ornery and prickly and makes an extremely loyal and good friend when she drops her walls. If someone can get past her thorny exterior, Scoria is a very loving and wounded individual seeking to find a place she belongs.

Born during a winter storm in Zora’s domain, Scoria grew up alongside cousins and sisters. A girl with an unknown father and a mother who wouldn’t tell, Scoria felt like an outsider to her community, whether it was real or imagined. She’d always been restless, even when she was little, when she would explore far outside the place of her birth. Every day was an adventure that Scoria took even further, much to the chagrin of her mother. When she was older, her day trips turned into overnight trips and it wasn’t long before Scoria would spend a week away at a time, traveling the lands that bordered her home.

Scoria fought with her mother one evening after a week-long excursion. She wanted her to stay home, to find a craft and plant roots in Zora’s Domain. Scoria, who felt that remaining still was antithetical to her being and soul, was enraged. Convinced that her own family didn’t understand her, Scoria left on her longest journey yet. When she returned long weeks later, tired and ready to make amends, Scoria discovered that her home had been usurped by a river Zora she’d barely encountered because of how often she’d been away.[break][break]Though Scoria likes to phrase it differently, there is no denying that she simply turned and ran. Her sisters, cousins and even her mother were not enough to keep her in Zora’s Domain under a new regime she didn’t trust, and she never looked back. Her travels took her further than ever before while she traversed lands she had never encountered. She lingered here and there long enough to pick up pieces of Nayru Magic, but Scoria was fierce with a spear and preferred to perfect her skillset with weapons instead.
