Tis I, the misunderstood twin brother of the resplendent and celebrated Ursula von Brandt, headmistress of the magic academy. Oh, but I have my own identity apart from her! I am Ulrich, one of the few Happy Mask Salesmen who stalk the lands, crafting beautiful masks out of fine wood, and selling happiness!

Now, what have I been doing these past two years besides being a handsome salesman?

Heh! Hiding in my sister's basement. There was some caboodle with the puppet that came out of Arbiter's Grounds, and I had to lie low for awhile since it basically stole my identity after I was released from, uh, confinement. I swear, I had it all under control until the moment a particularly strong demon kicked me out of the helm.

Bah. My reputation tanked, and a lot of people in very high places hated me. To make matters worse, that demon-possessed puppet stole my identity and masqueraded as me while I was behind bars. I could say that my reputation has hit rock bottom with no means to defend myself!

So, what's a guy like me to do? The only thing I think I'm known for is Ursula's troublemaker brother--but at least she's an understanding sister compared to the rest of the snotty-nosed brats running the town! She claimed to have destroyed the demon-possessed puppet, thanks to some circumstances concerning a certain prince.

Now, MOSTLY cleared of offenses, I was released back into the world, but with a retinue of watchful Sheikah to ensure I'm on my best behavior. Reformed, am I? Could I lose them? Sure could, but that wouldn't make dear sister happy, would it?

Believe me, I've tried it once to see what they would do. Oh, the look on their faces!

Kufufu... but to hear that the big G-dork himself is now a splotch of black earth underground? I'm tempted to see what became of "Hatred's Vessel..." alas, I am a coward and I need someone to leap into the arms of! 

You may find me beholden to my ways, but I've lived long enough not to care! I am quite the independent man! Sue me, I have no time to spend on such mundane things!
