You're Not My Fish [Anastasia]

The approaching Zora had been noticed by Farrah quickly, but she didn't deem them as a threat. Perhaps it was the fact that they looked pretty feminine. Probably a woman. Although, looks can be deceiving.

Personality wise, the Zora's looks weren't the least bit misleading. She looked timid and quiet, and after mumbling out random words, she finally formed a sentence. Farrah was not too impressed, but simply closed her book and smiled at the fish, which she noted looked beautiful in color.

"Nah. Not lost. I came here on purpose...ish. I wanted to look for a friend, but I wound up here instead of where we last met." She was not lost at all. Nope.

Sighing, Farrah turned to gaze at the river's flowing water. "The jerk. The least he could have done was give me some information on how to contact him, or even where to find him. All i have to go off of is where we met last time abd the fact that it's in the general area of the Zora domain."

As if remembering something, Farrah turned and looked into the Zora's eyes, brows knitting. "But you didn't ask me about my problems. Are you lost?"

Apparently, this Zora moght be able to help her find Nex? Lucky! Farrah grinned at the albino and tucked her book away quickly before standing up. "I'm Farrah. Nice to meet you! It would be wonderful if you could help me find my friend."

"Now... let's see..." Farrah ran a hand through her hair as she began to think about how to describe Nex. "Well, he's blue and silver... and he has a lot of tattoos. I believe they're red? On his head...fin," She had no idea what to call that thing. What even was it? "Um... he has a tattoo...scar thing around one of his eyes, and he's almost always scowling. He basically has a resting bitch face. Oh! He also wears a lot of pink jewelry. Pretty sure it's his favorite color."

She seemed to be done, but only moments after, she spoke again. "That's right! I forgot to tell you his name. It's Nex. Although he did tell me it was something longer when we first met. I just call him Nex."

What the flying fuck? King? What idiot made Nex a king? There must be something really wrong with Zora’s if they thought that he would make a… sane king. Obviously he would be good with some things and relationships with the lower people and such, but… he was like a ticking time bomb. Someone was bound to get stabbed, and then a war would probably start.

For once, Farrah held her tongue though and simply said “thank you” to the giiirl? (She was still confused by the fish’s gender.) Farrah was in the middle of Zora territory. There was no way she was going to call all of them idiots for putting Nex on the throne- if he really was. For all the Gerudo knew, this fish might be lying to her, but they- she- whatever- did say that they were a scholar, right? They were smart people that strived for knowledge and didn’t take to lying all too much, from her experience.

As her feet followed after the white zora, Farrah couldn’t help but get lost in thought, only brought back to the present by her name being said.

“May I ask you a few questions about Gerudo culture?”

Perhaps it wasn’t strange to be getting a question like this from a scholar, but Farrah was still surprised. Not many were curious about her people’s culture. Not even Nex or Maude have asked about it. Humming, Farrah weighed the options. She could just say no and be done with it, she was really only here for Nex, but the woman could also make a new friend if she did converse with this person…

“Go for it. Ask whatever you want and I’ll try to answer to the best of my abilities. Think of it as a ‘thank you’ for taking me to where my stupid friend is. Oh!” She went next to the Zora and tilted her head. “You never gave me a name. What should I call you?”
