As one called the "Swaying Palm," Nanaba has a relaxed disposition, though she is known for unusual philosophical inquiries. She is ultimately curious about how the world truly works, but whether she is willing to accept the answers given to her is another matter entirely. She hardly sits or bends, and prefers to stand.

Nanaba has a disgust for monkeys and anything that attempts to eat the fruit that falls from her hair.


Nanaba sprouted into the world within the tropical rainforests of the southern Faron region, to a tribe of easygoing Deku Scrubs who prize their wild orchards of fruit. For years, Nanaba has learned to cultivate and grow trees, using the magic of Farore, though she hadn't known of it then.

This place was called "Farore's Paradise," where every manner of fruit tree grew and propagated, fed by underground springs and a warm, balmy sun.

The reason why Nanaba had left is due to an adventurous group of humans who accidentally crash-landed in the paradise. Through a series of events involving convincing the irate Deku Scrubs that humans were not greedy, grubby creatures, Nanaba herself found that many of her answers may be answered if she left the safety of her abode.
