Evangeline is a thin and seemingly frail woman, standing at 5'2" (157 cms) and weighing 113 lbs (51 kg). She is deceptively small and can handle herself in combat rather well, despite her stature. Her skin is pale and she had dark circles under her eyes, making her look tired all the time. Her hair is stark white, flowing down her back in waves and her eyes are piercing red. She does not hide the fact that she is a member of the Sheikah tribe and is rather proud of her heritage.

Her casual attire is rather girly, though dark in color. Dresses, skirts, blouses, frills, she loves it all! She is an adept seamstress and makes her own clothing - a fact that she is proud of. When on the road or attending to her bodyguard duties, however, she dons the traditional Sheikah garb and ties her hair back into a ponytail.




At a glance, Evangeline is serious. Being a bodyguard for the Prince of Hyrule, she is expected to keep her head on a swivel, allowing her to keep her eyes and ears open for potential threats. Alcohol or other substances that might alter her perception are things that she is sworn off of, due to wanting to remain alert at all times. She is polite and proper, able to uphold herself with the utmost grace and decorum befitting of one who is in the presence of nobility everyday. Evangeline also had a wonderful education, allowing her to be well-read and decently knowledgeable. Reading is one of the hobbies she undertakes in her free time. 

Evangeline is usually rather closed off to people, preferring to keep things strictly professional - after all, if she trusts the wrong person, that could be disastrous. If she does manage to open up, however, she is much different from the persona she gives off. She loves to joke with her friends and tease them. At her core, she is kind. Helping others in need is something she values, and will often do so when given the chance. She loves animals and children, and hates to see them in any kind of pain. Evangeline is also very goal-oriented and loves a good challenge. She loves to try and tinker with Sheikah technology, even if she isn't terribly skilled at it. Anything that she can do with her hands, she enjoys. 

When in combat, Evangeline tries to utilize non-lethal methods as much as she can. While she has no qualms putting down monsters, she finds it difficult to do so when it's another person. Unless her hand is forced, she will try to incapacitate them first. The Sheikah training she underwent has made her rather adept at hand-to-hand combat. However, magic is her main weapon. 



Evangeline was born prematurely, nearly killing her mother during her birth. This concerned her parents, who thought she might not make it through to her adolescence. Her father was particularly concerned, insisting that they allow her to rest and live a nice, quiet life. Her mother, however, insisted that she continue to train as was befitting of a member of the Sheikah tribe. It was a difficult, harrowing task. There were many nights that the young Evangeline felt she might die from how hard her mother pushed her, drenched with sweat and bile rising in her throat. She was sick often, which caused this training to grow even more difficult. Still, her mother insisted they continue. 

This wound up helping Evangeline grow stronger, her body more resilient. The more she trained, the stronger she became. She does get sick from time to time, she handles illness much better now and is not incapacitated by it. Though she was still small and looked frail, there was a strength to her that most did not expect when they saw her. She picked up the Sheikah ways as she grew, the training becoming easier and easier every day. As she got stronger, her relationship with her mother became better. They were never exactly close like a mother and daughter were expected to be, but they came to a mutual understanding. 

While doing well at her training in the Sheikah ways, her father also taught her what little he knew about magic. Evangeline took to magic rather quickly, excelling at it and quickly surpassing her father's abilities. She loved magic and it became her main focus, resulting in her pouring over any information about magic as possible and seeking out the few people in the Hidden Village to teach her as much as they possibly could.

Eventually her training came to an end. Now an adult, she was ready to go out and make herself useful. Evangeline became a guard to Prince Oron El Hyrule after his reappearance and bout of amnesia. She has vowed to protect him with her life - and she means it!
