Tarik stands at 5'8. His build is lean, but he has some muscle definition to him as well. Pale blue hair cascades down towards his shoulders and eyes the color of rubies rest beneath his eyelids. Tarik has severe wrinkling around his eyes from allergies that were never really treated. He has a couple scars on his face that stem from a couple combat sessions that had gone awry, and his lips are extremely chapped. poor guy needs some chapstick



Despite his ragged and overall intimidating appearance, Tarik is someone that is caring of others. He's reserved most of the time, which can make him hard to read. If there was one thing that would speak to Tarik's demeanor, it would be how he interacts with his horse.

It would be a good idea if you didn't get him angry. And I mean angry. When he gets angry, he can become a person that is the total opposite of his nature. When he's angry, his words are cold and venomous. This often comes from a point where he's had enough of someone's demeanor towards him.

Tarik is calculated, but not in the way that you think. Having trained among other Sheikah to help protect the Royal Family of Hyrule, Tarik is a strategist at heart and prefers to have a plan set out before pursuing a goal. He knows, however, that this isn't always feasible and is able to adapt to a situation that he's able to quash with ease.



Another Sheikah destined to become a protector of the Royal Family of Hyrule. That's not quite what Tarik had in mind.

Born as Chroain Vipus in the late Autumn season, there was no doubt that there was something different about this Sheikah child. Instead of the white hair that most, if not all Sheikah possessed, Chroain was born with pale blue hair.

Early in his life, Chroain had taken to the training that young Sheikah subjected themselves to in order to better protect the Royal Family as they grew older. Sure, as a child it was cool to think of being able to become guards for them, but this was something that Chroain became disillusioned with as he got older.

One chilly morning, when the instructors conducted role call, Chroain was nowhere to be found. The night prior, he had approached his parents, saying that it was time for him to take his skills elsewhere and that he did not want to serve the Royal Family as they had done for many years. He was met with disappointment, but they acknowledged their son's wishes and urged him to leave before the sun rose on the horizon.

Chroain took his horse and rode away from Kakariko. He stripped himself of his origin, taking "Tarik" as his name. If he ever ran into his family outside the Hidden Village, he'd acknowledge them if they called him by his birthname, but that part of his life was far behind him.

Now he spent time exploring Hyrule and what it had to offer. Tarik hoped that he'd find this more rewarding than training to be a military puppet.

It's just too bad that his ruby colored eyes made him stick out like a sore thumb.
