a fog from the past
that's givin' me, givin' me such a headache
So much to do, so much to see, and so much to relearn.
Of all their years, they had never step foot outside of their fountain before. All they had heard was nothing but word of mouth; images from sketches and unreachable in pools of enchanted water. But the experience of a city, bustling and alive, was nothing that one could do justice by such things. To be standing along the paths and to feel small against the grandeur of architecture.
Wandering had become a bit of a hobby for the Great Fairy. Their feet and the wind being all that carried them to and fro - across Hyrule and through the alleys of the city. It had been less than a year, a mere blip in their lifetime, and yet they felt quite a bit of pride being able to travel now without a map of the city.
Yet for all their wanderings, they had yet to step inside some of the more important buildings… Like the Magic Academy. So it seemed that was their adventure of the day. Each pad of their feet bringing them inside of the beautiful landmark and past the bustling desks and classrooms.
Watching the Hylians do their magic had always been a charming pass time. The varying degrees of success offered a form of entertainment as well as a little bit of knowledge for the fairy still adjusting to the flow in their body. But while all the wandering through the halls, many of the faces began to blur together.. Until one.
“A kokiri!” Kokiri were not rare in any degree and yet the red-head felt like they rarely saw any on the street. “Oh, a child of the bark!”
Bounding their way towards the child-sized adult, they spoke with excitement and joy. A thrill that reflected even in how they almost bounced around them with little care. A kokiri! Where was their fairy? What was their name? Oh, they had always been so soft for the eternal youths..
“Your name! Your name, child, and that of your fairy!”
