Well negotiations had failed and now that bastard wanted to ruin centuries of what she had spent building, and she'd be damned if she merely stepped aside and let him do that. She couldn't risk war though, war was damaging, lost lives, ruined, families andned land, not to mention the carp was probably prepared for a war of arms....but maybe not a war of numbers. She had asked around and learned he was formerly a merchant which was good, it meant he would know the value of coin, and as it happened, she had about sixty percent of th trade supporting her bid for the throne.
But unlike before, this was not a deal for open court.
So she'd sent word of her return to the prince and had him meet her in her rooms. No guard posted, no ladies attending her, just the two of them. From him she could get a message to the royal family and the matter could begin. With the majority of their economy cutoff the Zora's wouldn't be forging arms and would be weakened. Taking it a step further and talking with the Goron Chief would help, but she wasn't trying to starve her people, cutting off the majority would show she meant business, and if tha didn't work, then she would plead her case with the other forty percent until nex was either forced off the throne or surrendered voluntarily.
