“Your highness!”
A scurry of feet and a flutter of clothes; the commotion was hard to ignore. The siege of the base of the rebels had not been one that the attendant had not anticipated… but for it to be so soon and so chaotic? Peoples clamoring through hallways with things and others clasped tightly in their arms as they rushed through. Through it all, the Twili had hurried to find the princess; once again they had been parted and not for a moment did he catch sight of her.
The waves pushed him towards the portal, each voice of rebels overlapping into an almost incomprehensible white noise. He could not stay behind.. But he could not leave the woman he had been in charge of by herself. A familiar flash of red hair and blued skin flashed in front of the portal before it was gone.
“Your highness!”
-
To warp was not something that he had gotten accustomed to; the feeling of his body yanked through space and dropped with a jerk. Nikhail nearly fell to his knees as the portal dumped him unceremoniously into the land of light. The ground gave way under his feet, sliding with him and throwing his hood back - the light of the Hyrulian sun blinding as any spell.
And painful, even.
The Twili hissed beneath his breath as he pulled at his cloak to cover what skin had become exposed. Brightness was not something that was unusual to him, but there was certainly another level to this realm… Just by the colors around him it was hard to deny where the portal had left them. Yet the most bizarre part… was there was no one else here. Only sand and water.
“They can make a portal but cannot set the coordinates.” Scoffed the man, using his long sleeves to dust himself off of sand and dust. Scanning the area around, he could not even see footprints - let alone any of the princess’ size, or even the princes’... Damn. If only he had been there a second earlier, if only he had grabbed onto her. How was he supposed to get anything useful by himself?
Nikhil sighed, deciding it best to get started on finding their party sooner rather than later. “...Not a single thought running in those heads, I swear.”
