People going off and getting information, people being assigned into groups... well, that bit of this whole 'volunteering' process wasn't for him, at least. After all, he was a force that could not be controlled, could barely be directed; even the Queen herself knew full well that he was a creature that would operate by his own will, and get things done when he needed to. So, failing much of a path, he would instead lead himself to something that interested him.

Well, but which was which by the time he arrived to view them, after briefly observing a few other groups enter, Revyn wasn't certain. Not that it terribly mattered for right now. There were matters to attend to, after all. And his own part in all of the little changes others were going through, which... really wasn't much. A reversal, of a sort, the golden fur that covered most of his body turning instead to a greyish color, while the golden color instead moved to the tips of his ears and trio of tails. Still a slightly curious feeling, to pass through such a distortion between worlds, but it was hardly the first time for him.

"Still getting used to things, shall I presume?" he asked with a curious little tilt of his head... though even he didn't waste too much time sniffing around a little. Even there, there were subtle differences to the world he was used to, but not near so much that he couldn't loosely identify at least a few things. Never minding that... though others, he'd briefly seen, indeed seemed to lack the ability to openly speak, his own was quite intact. "Shall I go ahead and observe for now, or perhaps a little help? I shall not, of course, be giving all the answers -- I'd dare say this is something you two should get used to -- but, well, one of us at least is used to standing on four feet."

That... so the feline was the lost Prince, then. So that would make the dog the younger Dragelion boy. And of course, Revyn himself knew... enough. He'd not had the full picture 'til this little incident, but that much was no matter. Not especially when he was allowed to... cheat a little by already himself being a 'monster'.

Still, at least the two seemed to have a direction in mind. That, indeed, was a start.

"A good nose, yes... and good ears just as well. As things are, I should dare say either of your ears shouldn't fall much behind mine, even if you won't have much experience with them or the nose, so be certain to stay alert," he suggested. On that note, then, the smaller keaton followed around the back of the little group, his ears and nose ever on the alert besides.

"Mm... a dull scent, at least," he spoke up after a short time. "May be one or two, but they should be somewhere on the way of where we're headed."

So they were starting to pick up on things, it appeared... that much was good. They were the true residents here, after all; it was their home far more so than it was his. Well, not that he himself wouldn't do anything, of course.

"Ahh, and here part of me might have hoped this might be simple," he chuckled slightly. "Well, no matter. Do be prepared for them to flail about... or possibly try and run off if this one is as different as it appears," Revyn suggested, an implication certainly there that he had at least a bit of experience in this. But well, for just how old he was, and how much he knew -- whether he was meant to or not -- perhaps it was just no matter.

'Then, shall we do it this way? I shall draw their eyes for a moment; go when you see the flame,' he suggested... this time via a Thought Projection, particularly while Desmond had broken away and wouldn't have been able to hear them otherwise. With that, then, the keaton snapped a few tails up against each other, lighting up a brief but slightly intense flame in the middle of the small pack of twilight beasts via a simple Searing Snap. Hardly a specialty of his, to be certain -- rather, something he'd picked up in the time since the Arbiter's Grounds had fallen -- but it served well, at least, to quickly draw the beasts' attention and caution for now.
