Everything you ask for, nothing is above me
I'm shining like a candle in the dark
when you tell me that you love me
I'm shining like a candle in the dark
when you tell me that you love me
Usually, it doesn't rain this hard while the winter chill has yet to leave the air.
It was a few days after the portal was completed and the western sky was engulfed in darkness. The Twilight Curtain, its visage hung ever obvious above Gerudo Desert, threatening to spread ever outward. And as if adjusting to the abomination which suddenly intruded into the world, the weather itself seemed like it needed time to adjust itself. The northern part experienced a heavy snowfall, even though spring was near. While the more temperate southern region such as Ordon received almost daily downpour. By the time spring actually came and Starlight Festival was on the horizon, the weather would have returned to normal -a great relief to those who had to prepare the festival. But now, the uncertain weather only served to heightened everyone's fear even more.
And rumors that King Leon had abdicated spread silently among the populace, repeated in whispers and hushed tones. The castle had so far been silent on the matter, although Princess Marianne indicated in one of her public appearances addressing the Twilight Curtain that the castle was looking thoroughly on the issue, and that whatever happened it would not jeopardize the monarchy in any way. As always The Princess herself had been had been deadly efficient in coordinating responses to the newest threat. Only two days since the Twilight Curtain appeared she declared a kingdom-wide defensive plan. And now, a few days later, everywhere people and goods and equipment seemed to be mobilizing ceaselessly, pouring towards the area around Gerudo Desert.
But this night, only sound of the torrential downpour pounding mercilessly on Dragelion's homestead which could be heard.
The rain had started a little after midday and had not relented until this late in the night. Almost as it seemed the sky itself was confused. There was no strong wind to blow, thankfully, but the rain had been incredibly harsh.
It was at this ungodly hour that a knock was heard on Dragelion's door. A series of rhythmic knocks, alternating in loudness and pause that no one would think that it was cause by the rain, polite but confident at the same time. Whoever was outside, they would be soaking wet, no matter what they wore.
And it turned out, it was the princess herself, clad in a travel attire with her crimson cloak stuck to her body. As she lifted her chin to let Josh got a better look at her hooded face, water was visibly dripping from her hair and down her cheek. Behind her, two Sheikah in black cloaks stood firm.
"Good evening, Sir Josh. Is Miss Merrows present?"

She looked genuinely troubled.
