It was a big day for such a little girl. First steps into the big city. Hyrule City, so she had learned. What an absolutely silly name. The whole land was called Hyrule! It was like naming a city in the Faron Woods, Faron City, or naming some place in the Ordona Province, Ordon- [break][break]
Actually, never mind. Whatever worked. Of course, she had to come up with her own name for the place. Castle Town certainly had so much more of a ring to it! What place in all of Hyrule had such beautiful castles? Why would they not name the place after its most striking features? It was silly talk, that's what it was. [break][break]
However, even with the sounds, the sights, and all the other sensory overload coming from a country child walking into the big city, the most important fact about town was even more simple. Nobody really questioned her, at all. There were so many people of all shapes and sizes that she effectively blended into the crowd! Unlike small towns where everyone seemed to know each other, here it was impossible to know everyone! There must be like, at least 100 people! That was too many names and faces to memorize! Her presence wasn't even remotely a big deal at all! [break][break]
She had spent the majority of her day sightseeing and shopping. Fresh food and adventuring supplies are just around every corner! The things people came up with! So much of her belongings were able to fit inside this tiny little bag! Adventurer's Pouch, they called it. She was an adventurer, so of course, she had to have it! [break][break]
Excitedly tossing the small bag up and down in her hands as she walked along the streets, her eyes were attempting to take in everything. One of these days, she should head back to the grove just to tell everyone what it was all like. Maybe even write her own book for them to read! [break][break]
She was suddenly pulled out of her own little dream world by yet another impressive sight. A massive castle-like building, or perhaps even an actual castle, with a massive field around it. That alone was beautiful, but the sign nearby nearly took her breath away. [break][break]
The Hyrulean University of Magic. [break][break]
Ritua was stunned for a few seconds, reading over the letters for a few moments before breaking out into an incredibly wide grin. School? For magic? How could she even think to turn down such a place! Where else could she learn so much more about magic? Perhaps they'd even know who wrote her book! Excitement literally sparkling in her eyes, she pulled her ancient spellbook out of her new pouch and carefully pressed onto the grounds. [break][break]
Of course, she stood out pretty obviously on the open field leading up to the castle. It seemed she wasn't alone, however. She could see someone else in the distance and Ritua couldn't help but immediately call out to them. [break][break]
"Hey!" She cried out, practically already running over towards them as fast as her little feet could manage. "Hey! Can I ask you some questions? Pretty please? With a cherry on top?" She didn't know what she was putting a cherry on top of, but she had read it in one of her books before.
