So, Oron had decided to stay in the area for a bit longer than expected. A literal Great Fairy giving him permission to use their fairy fountain as a little 'home' of sorts did give him a bit of a reason to not immediately go back onto the field of adventure... A brief respite if one wills. Also, he was curious what would happen even if the fountain wasn't currently an 'active' one. It didn't seem like it had any odd or magical effects on him staying overnight. After parting with them, he remembered that he actually had some extra business back in Ordon Village so he began making the trek back through the Faron Woods to return to the village. He believed he was closing back in, but there was a disturbance in the air. A scream, clearly that of a child's, echoed chillingly through the air...

Oron began bolting at high speed towards the source, running past the very child that screamed in terror. Well, it seemed someone beat him to the fun, but he could see there was more trouble... Bulblins. Annoying little creatures, but still scary to a child. He had to move and now. Oron would unsheathe his sword and charged on ahead. One of the bulblins that swarmed in would suddenly collapse as Oron arrived, having slashed through the one from behind. His expression was cold, but immediately turned to one of concern when he noticed the giant blonde who still stood there... Wasn't that...? No time to dwell on it. Oron held out his left arm and called upon Tenacious Gust. What felt like a large gust of winds suddenly would send many of the bulblins flying back. The force of the winds blew the hood pulled over his head back, inadvertently revealing his full face. It wasn't necessarily enough to take the bulblins out, but it gave a moment to regroup into a better position. His left arm trembled for a moment... He then ran forward to stand alongside Josh. "You were the one that aided that child? You have my thanks." Oron was a bit worried he would've been too late, but it seems things worked out well. Oron then held his sword in a battle ready position, seeing what predictably would happen next.

"Hm. Very well then." A little smile formed on Oron's face. Well. Making sure someone was safe was the most important thing to ensure. Dealing with some irritating monsters was the easy part in his mind. Especially given that he was vaguely recalling just who he was standing next to... Not a face he knew personally, but... A face he was nonetheless very familiar with. They were focused on the duo now as well, which was ideal in his mind. Nobody else would be in danger... However, a lot more of the Bulblins began to rush in alongside the group he had blown away for the brief moment of respite. With everything in place, the blonde man immediately charged in and began fighting them with his bare hands while also using the Bulblin's clubs against them. He had no weaponry of his own and if he did know any magic... One blessed by Din perhaps? Locale alone was a valid reason not to use any if that was the case.

It was quite the sight to witness, though he had his own battles to fight. Many of the annoyed Bulblins had begun marching over towards him and others aimed their bows at him. The artillery was immediately fired and Oron began to weave past the predictable angles. His body moved around and towards the Bulblins with grace as if as light as the air and then... He bluntly stabbed through one of them with his sword. Oron looked upon them with a suddenly more terrifying gaze as he began to skillfully swing and stab at many of them while maneuvering past further arrow fire. He occasionally would use his left arm to slam a few of them down to the ground with surprising strength before stabbing them to finish them. He took a deep breath as another arrow came for him after taking one out, which he managed to avoid by moving to the side. It was a closer call compared to the others, though.

Oron held up his left arm and the winds in the air seemed to bend to his will as they circled around and formed an orb of energy in his hand. Oron tossed the Wind Orb at one of the Bulblins firing arrows, the orb exploding into a gust of winds that sent it back a short distance. The fight continues on...

Given that they had quite a number of foes to deal with, it worked to Oron's benefit to ensure each strike counted. Tiring one's self out would do nobody any favors. As expected, the much larger Josh was definitely able to fight rather well with no real weapon to work with. Yet it wasn't just brute force... There was skill to it. Resourcefulness. Oron did know a bit of hand-to-hand combat, but swordsmanship was his main forte without question. With Josh's surprisingly acrobatic maneuvers, Oron would take advantage and would stab at one of the staggered Bulblins before demonstrating a surprising level of strength as he would then slash his sword outward, also slicing through the other Bulblin nearby.

Soon, another one came towards Oron's direction so he would twirl around and kick the Bulblin away. The poor thing was the ball in this game of ping pong. Oron would roll forward and stabbed his sword down onto it after it landed on the ground. Many of the Bulbins had all begun running off as expected once they realized they were outclassed. Oron stood back up and reassessed his stance. He took a steady breath. His heart was pounding and... Ngh. There was a slight pain growing in his head. His grip on his sword tightened. Focus... Focus... Oron would dash forward and maneuvered around one of the Bulblins that was still feeling bullheaded, slashing at its back and then ramming into it to send it staggering towards Josh. It didn't hurt to try another team combo, right?

Things were going rather well for the two fighting men, yes they were. They weren't dealing with any monsters that were more troublesome to defeat thankfully.

Whew. That was quite an impressive sight. Resourceful too... While it likely wouldn't be too necessary for him in his future, he had some new tactics to keep in mind... Maybe he should try and find some extra gear to work with at some point as well...

Oron had unwittingly taken a step forward. He felt ready to chase after the Bulblins that were running off, but he paused where he stood... Calm... It's over for now... Oron took a steadying breath as he slid his sword back into its sheath on his back. He stretched his arms out before slowly turning to the towering blonde. "I'm fine. It would seem you're quite alright as well. Heheh... That was quite an impressive display on your part. It would appear I have much to learn still." Oron nodded a bit. Oron would then walk over to Josh and held out a hand. "My name is Auron."

Survival... That has certainly been the name of the game for Oron for about a year now. Of course, given Oron's past regarding a lot of his training in swordsmanship, it makes sense that there would be some similarities to how his eldest cousin fought... It has been a true blessing, though at the same time Oron has been uncertain if he has actually been getting stronger... More skilled... He has been trying his best with what he has to work with, but... Well. The battle was over. That's what mattered. He could dwell on his perceived predicament later.

The large blonde accepted Oron's handshake. Firm. Very firm. It was to be expected. Josh... So he was who Oron was suspecting him to be. Oron has read about the mighty Josh Dragelion via news sources. Oron's never personally met him before so it did make sense that he didn't seem to recognize who Oron was. That'd be a bit of an issue if he did... Josh then mentioned wanting to find that child that they had saved from the monsters. "A pleasure... I suppose I can take you up on your offer. If you do not mind, I can help you look around." It is possible the kid went back to the village, but who's to say for certain?

Oron followed after Josh and they conveniently found the child without too much trouble. He had indeed run back at the entrance to Ordon Village. Josh offered the kid some comforting words before he ran back into the village... Hopefully back to his parents. One should try to cherish their parents however they can after all... Provided they are good parents of course. Oron let out a brief chuckle at the sight. Kids indeed... With that, Josh would lead the way towards a small bar that was mostly empty right now, but likely would start to fill up soon given the time. Oron looked around. It was quite... Quaint.

Oron would take a seat next to Josh, who had decided to start a 'proper' conversation between the two now that they weren't busy with fighting. Oron rested his arms on the counter. "Not exactly... I have fought alongside them in the past, though. Right now, I'm just a traveler exploring all of Hyrule... Training. Learning. I've been at it for almost a year now. It's certainly an enlightening experience." Oron smiled lightly. He technically wasn't lying, but he was leaving out the obvious important details regarding his identity.

Oron blinked. People didn't really usually pry too much about what he said usually. He did leave his answers vague and most just accepted it and moved along. Oron never thought that much of how his swordsmanship looked... He's seen many other people fight before with their own quirks and styles. Nobody ever seemed to pinpoint a distinct appearance to how he fought before. Thus he wouldn't think it to arise much suspicion. It just... Was.

Josh seemed especially curious by what he was saying... Oh, how tricky. A windy path to navigate... How would Oron handle this? "Well. I actually come from the capital. I had a bit of a sheltered upbringing... My father was involved with the military for much of his life and my mother studied magic. They both discovered I had an aptitude for magic at a young age so a lot of my life was spent studying under her and some other professors of magic to make sure I could at least control it. At my insistence, my father did train me in swordsmanship and I did consider actually joining with the military. Almost two years ago, though, they... Were killed. I'm sure you're aware of the Tragedy... Those monsters got to them when they tried to protect others from their wrath... After that day, I truly wanted to take up my sword. I tried to get onto the field... Alas, I never really made much stride because I ended up receiving a very bad injury during a battle... I ended up embarking on this journey when I was able to move around again. I wanted to expand my horizons, further my training, and do some research... As you probably could see, I am mostly back in form now." Again, Oron technically wasn't lying... He just was leaving out the specifics that would make his identity apparent, such as actually spending a lot of time training directly with the Guard. Oron could feel a pain in his head just from remembering the Starlight Tragedy... His fists clenched and he began to even tremble for a moment. The day that particular memory came back... The rage and sorrow he felt were as fresh as the day itself. That dark pit inside of himself seemed to always be present... Possibly growing... It was unnerving to think about...

Oron then sighed and tried to relax and release his tension a bit.
