"Hmm..." The farmboy had to consider his options when the kid would outline a few tea blends that he was definitely not all that familiar with. And he wouldn't have anything from the forest that would have been prepared for use in tea. So he supposed he would just have to brew what it seemed like they might like and hope for the best. "I'll see what I can do" he promised with a gentle tone as he went to work on it. Josh had already decided this kid was very likely a Kokiri, but if they didn't want to talk about it then he wouldn't push on the matter. That was their privacy to divulge or hide as they pleased. There was surely a reason that Kokiri remained hidden as they did. Regardless, as he worked on the tea he would keep a good listening ear as the child talked about doing, well, child things. Tag and hide and seek! And... Hide the fairy? "If I were a Kokiri, I wouldn't talk about that "Hide The Fairy" one with just anyone. Just in case you meet any Kokiri who play while you're in the forest. People don't exactly see fairies everyday, nor play with them" Josh pointed out, not directly saying he knew she was a Kokiri, but it was pretty obvious he did. But he had chosen to play along regardless, while advising her on how to better blend in. "How do you make the stones dance?" he then inquired curiously, asking as many questions as he could to show that he was interested. "Who would you say is your best shot with a slingshot?" So she was a bookworm? Interesting. Her magic book being filled with empty pages was odd, though. "Could be space to fill it out" he suggested offhand. "As for my own books, they're not as interesting as magic books. But you're free to read through them whenever you visit." That had been the extension that she could could back if she wanted to, if it wasn't clear enough. Though she didn't seem to want to stay long, instead wanting to see the world. Including castle town, even. "Perhaps next I go, I can take you with me? Would keep you from getting lost" Josh suggested, then. He would be able to help Ritua keep their secret that way, and while he didn't say as such, he would be able to keep them safe if he were to accompany them. Of course, that meant she would also find out about his other job. But at least other people would too, and that'd keep potential dangers away from Ritua. |
