Josh Dragelion - He's her best friend. He's her only real friend. He's the first meaningful relationship she's held with someone outside her family. Da da da DA! Of course it's Josh. They were friends before they were lovers and good friends at that. They spent a lot of drinking and telling bad jokes. You wouldn't think him to be her type and honestly, she didn't even like him at first, thought he was annoying, but Josh seemed determine to be a thorn in her side so she thought she'd just have to get used to him. Ok, well it might also have been his cheeriness, patience, and inhuman ability to understand she was trying really hard. One way or another they just got along and he'll always be her best friend.
Selene Merrows - Ok, so they're working on the friendship thing, but they have their moments. Maude likes to think something is building there even if she doesn't really know how to stimulate growth. Selene seems nice. She seems cool and Josh thinks she's great so she must be. Maude actually would really like to know Selene better, but as of right now they're just kind of mutual friends of Josh.
@nex - Well... he taught her to swim once and was nice enough not to kill her. They buy stuff from each other sometimes Plus he got her that wood-file and she liked that thing so much she actually went out and learned how to use it. So yeah. Totally friends, right? Then again he was clearly sickly and probably deranged. He scared the crap out of her, generally didn't seem trustworthy, and if he steps near her daughter again she's going to have to rip him a new one. Let's say she cautiously tolerates him for now.

Josh Dragelion - Three years is a long time, but she's gotta admit, it's been a very nice time. She falls asleep with him every night and she gets to wake up next to him every morning. He gives her all the kisses she could ever want and holds her real tight. He's probably the only soul that really understand that she's not trying to be mean and he has enough patience when she does it anyways. Without Josh, who know where she'd be, probably still held up in some bar throwing herself a pity party, but now she's here. She has a home again and somehow she managed to go back to doing exactly what she wanted to be doing and... it's working out ok for her. It's like it was again, except instead of being alone, she has the most amazing partner she could ever hope for.
She loves him. If she got to spend everyday with him for the rest of her life, then it would be a good life lived.

Farrah Abad - Maude's baby daughter. Just because she's 21 doesn't mean she's not a baby to Maude. They two have a very special bond and a deep amount of love for one another, despite not really being related. How did Maude the Grump become a mother? Well by finding a stray child and taking her home of course. Then she never really left and kept eating all her food. Maude complains, but she always happy to see her and she's very proud of seeing her grow up to be a fine young woman. Bits of Maude have probably rubbed off on the girl, considering before the two met there probably was no chance Farrah would go out and get a job, but now. And Farrah certainly did her part in helping Maude calm down over the years. So Maude keeps a bed made, some extra food about, and the windows open in case she ever drops by to visit.
Nerina Lif - Maude's relationship with Nerina has never really gotten less complicated. There seems to be a lot of fault on both sides, but as time goes on they're slowly working through it all. Maude knows that she loves her sister and that she wants her to be safe and happy, but for Nerina that isn't as simple as it ideally should be. Nerina has... problems, problems Maude doesn't understand, but she's trying. She's sick and she just needs someone to help her get better. Maude is probably the least qualified person for that, but Nerina or the Goddesses or someone seems to have chosen her, so she'll give it her best shot for Nerina.
