Perhaps the most illustrious House to ever grace the pages of history, members of the House of Hyrule have ruled the lands of Hyrule since time immemorial, guiding its people through countless triumphs and tribulations. Greatly respected even by the ruling houses of foreign lands, this is a noble house clearly favored by Hylia, Hyrule’s Patron Goddess. With few notable exceptions, members of this house are usually attuned to Hyilia’s School of Magic. Both the senior and junior branch can carry the name of House Hyrule, although there are not many of them –few members of this house ever reaches a ripe old age.

Widely known as “The House of The Priestesses”, this ancient and secretive house is rumored to be descended from the daughters of Goddess Hylia herself. Uniquely matrilineal, female members of this house can, if they so choose, adopt their mother’s house name instead of their father’s and become a full member of this house. Without exception, members of this house have been recorded as exceptional wielders of Light Magic. This shared affinity with the Goddess Hylia meant that members of this house or their daughters often married into The Royal Family, becoming storied queens lauded in legends and myths.

The late Queen Celeste de Hyrule was a member of this house through her mother, Nurliza Tenmei, though she opted to join her father Lucien el Hyrule’s, a junior member of House of Hyrule, house instead.
