"Leave one wolf alive and the sheep are never safe~"
Violence was a constant impulse for some that was indistinguishable from ordinary instinct. A predators need to drink, breathe, eat, and sleep, and at times, when it was too pulling, so overwhelming that it surged past the skin and the very need tore open the soul, she drowned it out with the monotony of her lesser hunts and evening runs. But now? Boredom and monotony smothered her and she let it crush every treacherous bone in her body that so conspired against her fabric.
Ice cold eyes flicked and wandered over the shiny rock in her hand as the sun ever so slowly began to sink into the distant horizon. The shade of a great tree keeping the young lass cool while the warmth of three rather obscenely large hounds growled and breathed audibly in their napping around her, swarming the child with warmth as the girl laid her head upon the neck of Costello. It helped her feel contained. It kept her thoughts tranquil. Kept her teeth from itching and her bones from aching. The Hound was fortunate in that her very life allowed her to slake her restlessness, but on days like this, her appetite felt bigger than herself. She was so hungry for a distraction she could practically taste it. A palpable desire for mischief and trouble that she could not satiate as she was now.
But then again, she was raised differently. The idea of quiet, peaceful life was extremely foreign to the wild child, she found herself completely enamored with the bright lights and the scent of delicious foods radiating in the air around the great city, although just as much as the vision of the city provided in delight, it offered just as much foulness. Her eyes watered when she neared the walls, the stink of many sardines all trapped in a can. As much as she wanted to explore the tall stone maze, her own senses barred her from daring to go near. But at least here, in the wild the air was smooth and clean, pleasing to the girls senses as nature continued its constant music. Birds chirping, crickets being annoying, and of course the whistling of the grass.
The Hound mindlessly listened, waiting for something to be drawn to her by fate, by aggression, or just by chance. And as the shadows stretched gently over the twilight covered land it seemed the gods would answer the child as the slow sound of rattling rumbled from across the hyrule fields. Colorful purple cloth draped over the wagons as the delightful jingles of chimes and bells rang in the open field like music as the wild child gasped, feeling her blood grow warm as the girl giggled impishly.
Excitement swelled within her chest instead of destructive impulse, those many eyes flicking back and forth over the bustling wagons over the great hill as she perked up and grabbed Costello by the ears and pulled them happily. "Rgg, rah!" She grunted, lifting a hand and gesturing to the small group of travelers and their caravans as the wildling grabbed her spear and hopped over Greisha and Shiku, reaching up and pulling a wolf fur over her head as a hood as she tucked the spear under her arm and pranced through the tall grass as the three hounds stirred to life and all grumbled curiously, quickly hopping to their feet and following the girl through the grass as she neared the trail where the Caravan would eventually pass by.
That vision swelled with intent as the many decorations looming over a number of different booths that displayed all kinds of strange trinkets that sparkled and shine with delight as the cloth wafted in the wind, horses hauling it all up small slopes along the dirt path. Attracting The Hound like a moth to a flame as the child immediately parted a path through the sea of grass to get even closer to them as they neared as she whispered to the canines who drafted behind her. "Vi'sh ari roadsha!" She hissed, pointing to the road with her spear as the two smaller hounds exchanged glances before scoffing. Walking out into the open road and simply sitting clearly as they looked around, as if guard dogs on either side of the road waiting the caravans safe passage, the twins licking their lips as their ears twisted and swiveled like radar dishes.
The ring of a childs voice immediately sang through the air.
"PUPPIES!" She shrieked in delight from the back of the wagon leading the other two. The caravan approaching the twin dogs slowly as the two drivers both glanced at one another before looking around the tall grass and then focusing on the dogs.
"T...they belong to anyone? Someone live out here?" One mumbled from beneath a scarf, hand on the reigns and the other on a dagger at his side as the woman beside him hymned.
"I don't see collars on them...might just be hungry strays. Throw them some scraps and they will probably get distracted for a bit." She replied, the man clicking his tongue to the idea.
"Or follow us to town, we don't need no dogs to take ca-"
"Oh can we keep them daddy!" The girl delighted as she waved at the twins, making noises as to gesture them forward.
Meanwhile Costello and Vanya slowly neared the rear wagon, held up by the front as the sleepy farmer with a straw hat kept his head down as if slowly drowsing away.
Her eyes were drawn to the many fancy items likely being sold by the individuals traveling to the next village and transporting their goods. The Hound slowly surveying the wagons as she sniffed and steadied her vision on the middle wagon as it stank of spices and herbs that made The Hound scoff in irritation before moving her attention back to the rear wagon. Drifting through the grass with Costello staying close behind as Vanya summoned her courage~
