Self-centered, self-assured, believes the worst in everyone around him so he's quick to fleece them first.
Won't help children (no one helped him) but won't stand by if someone tries to hurt a child.
Thinks all nobility are scum and that any guardsmen are fools.


Born the only child of the minor noble family Dotour. Sheltered and raised in wealth and prestige with countless demands, no friends, and the expectation that he would be exactly like his parents. Kafaye claimed that he would rather starve on the streets than be like his father. He was kicked out, his father hoping that living a few weeks would change his son's mind.

Glorying in his freedom even at the cost of hunger and being beaten up by other kids. Spite kept him from going back.

He grew up to be a man no one really knew and his parents would never recognize. A thief, a liar, quick to con someone and quicker to get away. The childhood prayers to the Goddessess became scorn. His favored targets are nobility, but mostly because they have more wealth he can get from a single hit.
