What Makes You Tick?

'Early to bed, early to rise.'

In truth, Zakar didn't really get it. He already rose early, even just by old habit, and work was work. Out on the somewhat isolated farmland the few people he lived with and owed quite a bit to owned, off further for a morning hunt. Still finding himself rather missing his old gauntlet, just as ever, but there was no way left to find it now, and the couple didn't want him to be seen with a weapon... so bare hands it was.

Not that it stopped the certain element of brutality that he'd been born and raised with, a bit more tempered though it may have been from his year or so living rather quietly with the humans. A somewhat lumbering gait, a rather obvious, lizard-like figure, and strength enough in spite of a thinner figure to slam a deer straight into a tree. Never mind the rather pointed lack of anything like subtlety, nor indeed any immediate notice of another nearby, occupied as the dark Lizalfos was with getting a good grip around the fallen deer's neck; another thing he rather missed his old gauntlet for.

"Enough... for now, they say..." he muttered to himself, in perfectly distinguishable Hylian, though with a note of someone not fully comfortable with the language yet. More unsteady still, though, was his control of a tiny bit of shadow -- something he'd been attempting since his trip to the 'big city' -- at least, before his yellowish eyes fell on the woman not far off, his expression quickly sinking.

"Y-you... didn't see...?" he suggested... though what he meant by that, whether himself entirely, or that tiny bit of magic, or something else, may not have been clear.

'Secret'... hmm. It would have to be, or it would be trouble for him. If not from others, then at least from those few he lived with; amongst the few yet even aware of his existence.

"Mm... can't..." Zakar trailed off muttering, exhaling a light, somewhat annoyed hum as his gaze turned down, at least for a few moments, to the hand still gripping into the deer's neck. "No weapon... only strength. Feel... wrong," he offered. His gauntlet was well since gone, after all, and magic... though he'd been starting to try, he also only had the vaguest idea how, and even when he was with the monsters, he was low in the ranks. Was he even meant to?

"Erm... but am not threat. Live with Hylians," he added, just to be certain. "But... who you? Haven't seen before," he asked, if only out of curiosity, his eyes turning back over to Ursula.
