It was the dawn of a new day yet everyone had already greeted the day-break in hurried fashion. Countless Gorons hustled throughout Goron City, many of whom carried ores and weapons while the warriors stomped along the pathways. A few handful of iron-clad warriors trudged towards various mine entrances, namely the secondary and tertiary shafts that all connected to the Goron Mines within Death Mountain. However, the main entry point was left to more capable people for the concentration of monster was strongest there. The activity upon the mountain matched that of the volcano - from a distance, it would appeared chaos had ensued among the Goron but upon closer inspection, this was a coordinated effort. Leadership had painstakingly orchestrated this plan with the blessings of the Elders. Of course, not every able-body took to the mines for construction across the homeland was still a priority along with this expedition so their numbers where limited. Thankfully, the Gorons had a few friends they could count on to bolster their strength.
Dormagoro stood within the inner sanctum of the city - a massive den that was mainly used for rites and other ceremonies that at some point in history, was nothing more than a space to spar. However, the young Goron had a serious expression, one that never took ahold for too long. His thoughts went back to the night before, after the meeting when more information was revealed to him. When he heard it, he rightfully couldn't believe it at first, but it had sense. Such a otherworldly object as a piece of Twilight Mirror would cause this much devastation, wrought their home into cragged stone and bring about bullish forces of Dodongos and Lizalfos. This brought a crease to his brow, for the stakes were much higher than he initially intended. But it wasn't going to sway him or abandon this expedition. Dormagoro made a solemn vow to protect his people and purge the creeping darkness that poisoned the land. So he stood strong and gazed to the entrance of the Goron Mines, which was rather unassuming in appearance. The only importance it noted were the two massive Gorons on either side of the tunnel, undoubtedly their strongest brothers in case things spiraled out of control.
A few moments had passed and the time to conduct their expedition drew nigh. The other members of his party would have soon, unhindered by his warrior brothers for they were given access to the area. Chief Solveig also took it upon himself to join them and for Dormagoro, it was much welcomed. However, before they could begin their trek, the young Goron warrior wanted to be sure that everyone in the party was readied. There was no turning back once they descend into the hellscape. Much had changed within the Goron Mines since his last visit and from the knowledge passed along by the recent miners, a few brothers were trapped among strange shadowy monstrosities.
Dormagoro stood strong, arms folded and crossed as he watched his friends enter. Of course, the serious expression he had to himself was replaced with a warm smile. "I'm glad you all could make it. Chief Solveig. Phoebe." He looked to the other two party members. "I don't think we've met. I'm Dormagoro! Welcome to the party! I wish I could be more hospitable, but given the circumstances, that'll have to do for now. Now, before we go, I gotta tell ya, the heat outside is nothing compared to the mines so I gotta make sure ya are prepared in mind, body and provisions. Are ya ready?"
