SOMETHING TO CELEBRATE
Professor Ursula von Brandt and Princess Marianne de Hyrule
Hyrule Castle Ballroom
Dusk
"Hear ye, o hear ye! On this day, we celebrate the birth of Princess Marianne de Hyrule, her sixteenth year! Nobles, Lords, and Ladies, you are invited to attend the royal ball, hosted by the Holy Royal Family of Hyrule!..."
The royal ball, a true testament of the wealth and power of the Royal Family de Hyrule. It was insufficient to say just how extravagant the arrangements would be, and all for just one person!
Ah, yes, it wasn't "just one person," it was for Princess Marianne de Hyrule.
Invitations were handed to those worthy of attendance of the actual ball, albeit, the citizens who were not invited were given a fantastic fair in the central district to celebrate. For many of the regular folk, these events were a great opportunity to buy and sell, and perhaps waste a little on the little liberations that were provided them.
As far as Ursula was concerned, she sat at her window and stared out into the jovial streets. This was how it was like every year for each member of the younger Royal Family.
It was, in fact, tiring to the reclusive professor. Yes, reclusive, for recently she desired to remain in her homestead on her off days. She would read a book, more often than not, from cover to cover, dressed in comfortable clothing in her room.
That is, the birthday of the princess was not one she would ever dismiss. After all, Marianne was her beloved student, protégé, and the closest thing she could have to a daughter.
"Madame, it is time to get ready for the ball."
So said Janette as the main maid task force stood in a line inside of her bedroom.
With a nod, Ursula rose from her seat.
