So... nothing of note within the cells. Marianne had hoped that the gears that seemed to be missing could be there somewhere. Perhaps she was too naive. These Twilight affairs rarely made it easy.
Still, it raised a few questions. Such as, why would there be bones of so many types of monsters? Hylians didn't imprison monsters -they kept them, in a menagerie or for entertainment or research monsters. Only the intelligent races could be criminals, and thus imprisoned, not monsters. So what was this place actually? Could it actually be a place where monsters were used to fight each other as entertainment? She remembered there was a mention of such practice in some obscure ancient barbarian tribes that were once widespread....
That dark vision stopped her train of thoughts, however. Marianne felt a soft sensation on her hand, and looked down to see Revyn casually brushing his tail against her fingers. It was a small gesture, but it brought Marianne great relief.
No matter what, there were still her friends she could rely on.
She nodded.
"Thank you, Revyn.... You are right, of course. How can I be worried when you are here with us? " She smiled earnestly in apology, "How silly of me...."
As she moved to give Revyn a gentle pat (if allowed), her eyes met Rularu's, who was clearly watching her. Softly, Marianne shook her head and grinned, trying to tell her that it was nothing.
Right. No need to bring the mood down if she can help it. This strange sickness will surely pass. Probably the stale air of this place....
When another, most unwelcome voice assaulted her. The salesman, of all people, tapped her on her shoulder.
"Hmph. Don't push yourself too hard, 'Mari."
Her name. Her small name. Spoken by a very different voice. Marianne bristled, furious, despite the illogicality of her reaction. What was he doing?! Was he mocking her?! Did he think she was not doing enough? Who gave him permission to act like he was a close one to her??
"Don't you call me with that name," she hissed, although low enough that she hoped only two of them could hear.
Thankfully, Rularu was about to do something
"Ah, let me help you."
As Rularu was about to put the top-like object on the hole, Marianne stood beside her and readied her Shield spells, ready to activate it should anything happened. She would not take chances with her most precious friend!
Still, this pulsating headache is annoying.... Marianne watched nervously as Rularu placed the top-like object....
And nothing happened.
A scream jerked Marianne from her thoughts. Ulrich was taken away, grabbed by something from behind that door earlier! Immediately remembering the moment her mentor was taken away from her, Marianne rushed towards the door, along with Mr. Zaharie and Fiora following closely behind. No way in Demise's Door that she would allow her only link to Mrs. von Brandt to be compromised in any way!
Three Stalfos were hoisting Ulrich, with a Wallmaster seemingly waiting behind. Naturally, Marianne knew which she could better neutralize first. She thrust her left hand, which had gathered enough energy, and once again sent a massive phantom hand to lock the Wallmaster in place, struggling finger by finger.
"Fiora!"
The Rito did not have to be told twice. She flew upwards in an wonderful display of acrobatics, aiming for that spot to hit the Stalfos without injuring Ulrich while being mindful of her surroundings.
"Got it."
Her arrow set aflame, and several times harder, she put a well-placed shot to the leg of the Stalfos holding Ulrich. Her aim was to cripple it so that, wherever they were planning to take Ulrich, it could not do that easily.
Meanwhile, Marianne's right hand glow. She was preparing a Star of Hylia once Ulrich was out of range. These bones -she knew they were very weak to direct force which would shatter them!

Interaction:
She is hissing to Ulrich
For DM:
Marianne's own Fist of The Wallmaster collide with an actual Wallmaster! Maybe they can have a nice and civil handshake....
Fiora's arrow, strengthened with Din's touch, aims to cripple the Stalfos holding Ulrich
