Description: A large dog, about 72kg of mass. A breed of Hylian hunting dog with golden fur and long, floppy ears. As a pup, they were a stray in Termina, presumed to have gotten separated from their litter. Wounded by monsters on the road, the pup was found by Josh Dragelion and Selene Merrows and brought back to town, where he was nursed back to health. With the pup having grown attached to them, Josh decided to take the pup in. Buddy has since followed Josh and his family wherever their journeys may take them, and has become a fixture of Dragelion Ranch.

He is generally quite friendly, perhaps a bit too friendly with people and animals. Something that can be a problem considering the dog's size. Buddy is talented in hunting game, as well as herding livestock. He is combat-capable, though his combat role is based around that of his hunting, Buddy is trained to pin enemies down so Josh may finish them off. When not working alongside his owner, Buddy is often seen bounding around the ranch, taking naps in strange places, or trying to make off with food to fill his bottomless stomach. He is best boi. A big floofy flooper who will sleep on your bed if you let him.

Description: A large horse breed with a chestnut coat and a white mane, Cabuck was bred to serve as a horse for war, but its breeder found its results were lacking despite the horse's youth. Deciding to put the horse down and start over, the breeder was run off by Josh, who took in the horse - now called Cabuck, and began to train the horse himself. With a bit of extra love and care, Cabuck's potential shined through and he proved to be a swift and durable horse that Josh would later take with him to many battles, as well as rely on to pull wagons and bring the month's harvest to town. While Cabuck can have an attitude at times, Josh's bond with Cabuck is unbreakable, and Cabuck is unwaveringly loyal to his master.

A pink-colored pig with black spots, this troublesome oinker had destroyed the fencing of the ranch repeatedly and gotten into the crops. Instead of cooking them though, Josh's soft heart led him to give the porker a home. Soon enough, the oinker began to behave a bit better, and even began finding truffles that fetched a pretty penny. Sometimes Josh will take Porker out into Faron Woods to give it some exercise and hunt for truffles, but otherwise the carefree oinker is content to laze about all day with the livestock, eat and roll in mud.
