“So... so Theo’s actions were not wrong...?” he choked as his face became a sobbing mess, “It was... it was right all along!? He is a hero?!”
So the judgement he had received... was it that it was too hastily made? He desired to give the benefit of the doubt... bah! Such a thing is too late to think about! It has been ten years! It was high time to return, was it not?
The giant took hold of his illustrious beard and wiped the tears from his eyes, then, drew a long, deep breath once again.
“Let it be that the fate of Farore’s courageous wind be the inspiration of this auspicious meeting!” he boomed, then knelt down with his shield fist pressed into the ground, and with his right hand reached out with a certain gentleness, as if to handle a delicate flower, to pinch the princess’ proportionately smaller hand between the crook of his index finger and thumb. “May my shield be in service for the princess daughter of the great and beloved General Redwing, and may tales of her bravery ring in the halls of her people! I shall return with you and bring aid by my strength!”
Look upon your daughter and smile, my liege! Let her wisdom be lauded! Let her generation be praised for its courage and known for its deeds!
