"Heh, no problem. Bertrand and his family are good people so its only natural for me to get this place more business." Nova smiled, watching Selene work her charm on the sleepy ginger furball. "Besides, if mercenary work doesn't pan out in the next week or so, I might just work here." Of course, that was a little joke but it did rang a bit of truth to it.
Bertrand just shook his head at the idea, giving the lass a quaint smile. "Right, right. Although I don't think I could afford another waitress anytime soon." He chuckled to himself before he laid out their drinks in front of them at the table. "Enjoy, ladies." With that being said, he waltzed back behind the counter. "Thank you!"
Nova scooted the large mug a bit closer to herself but dared not to take the first drink unless Selene did. She wanted to see her reaction, for such a selection from home was seldom available in the city despite how much goods came from Termina. It was a popular choice and one she could definitely attest to. She was also curious on Selene's past occupation back home but unfortunately her memory warranted no real confirmation on her part mainly due to the fact she suffered quite an ordeal that left her at odds with lost memories of home. Although, she could recall a few things - today was rather fruitless.
"You're right. I was born in Clocktown but not raised there. My father took me to Ikana Valley. Spent most of my childhood there." Nova's thoughts raced back home - the music box house she lived in, the lonesome well not far from them, countless hours collecting bugs and even a little bit of memory meeting a very kind woman near the graveyard. Those were the only memories that remained, not the journeys nor friendships she made. It did, however, occur to Nova that she had not once came across Selene back otherwise, Selene would have immediately known Nova from the start. At least, that awkward meeting was not to be repeated as Nova had done so with Josh so it was a small blessing to some extent.
"You're not a mailwoman here in Hyrule, right?" Nova joked, thoughts still lingered a bit about Termina.
