I've seen a lot in this lifetime of mine
| "Well, it's not so bad if you stay on the mainroad, really" He would admit. "The monsters flock there less. I haven't had to deal with one in a long time, and never had to engage one in the two years I've been in Hyrule" He would admit. It was true, while he kept in practice in combat just in case, he hadn't fought a monster in years. He had to admit, he was a bit antsy... It was a bit weird, after all.
"But I'm sure that Ordon will feel homey at least. It's small, but cozy. And the people are quite friendly."

Just his luck, he was probably attacked by a pack of monsters that was just more feral than the rest, cause all he was doing was practicing with his bow when he heard the growls of predators, and he was too ignorant to know the sound of their howls when on the hunt, so he didn't think much of the howling.
He stayed quiet for a moment and moved right along with Josh, looking up at the thick area of trees curiously, but watching his step as she moved along.
"So are the others in Ordon also Hylian? Or are they Goron... Or what?" he asked, curious about what lived out here. He had read that races like Hylians could live almost anywhere.

| He probably just strayed off the main road. Monsters did come onto the main road at times, but generally you found them more if you veered off it. It was generally shortcut takers or explorers who usually ended up finding groups of monsters. Josh was just a rancher who happened to go for short supplies runs in town from Ordon. He didn't tend to encounter monsters, and they usually didn't notice him if he was quiet enough.
To his question, he would shrug his shoulders. "Generally Hylians" He would remark. "But the village is for everyone. You just don't tend to see other races there that often. Not really sure why, it's a great farming village, but I guess farming just isn't for everybody" He would add, not seeming all that bothered by it. They lived their lives, and others would live theirs, right?
"Faron Woods should be coming up, sir. Stay on the mainroad, if you get lost, you'll wander into hunting territory and risk an accidental arrow in your skull."

Anastasia looked at the bow on his back and then over at the woods. "Faron woods? I won't lie. I always imagined a forest being much more lively than this. Is it the monsters or are the animals more quiet than I thought?" questions questions questions. He asked a lot of them, but he only asked them out of curiousity. While he was stuck out in the land beyond the lake, he figured he may as well try to absorb as much information as he could. Maybe he could even run up on some clues to his long lost friend.
He was gone though, and if he couldn't find clues, he may as well draw the line there in finding him. She would try her hardest to find him though, while he a was obnoxious, he was good company. He was also there for him where other zora were never around. Many zora shunned him anyways. Mostly because he was a male with feminine features, or either a female with male features. Either way.
He moved right along with Josh, staring at some strange colored flowers, then occasionally looking at some Briar plants to try and figure them out.

| "The hunting grounds are nearby, so the animals have adapted to the area, and know not to make as much noise or risk being hunted by predators, or hunters" The blonde would explain as they would walk into Faron Woods. "There's also monsters here and there as well, but I don't usually have issues with them. I tend to sneak by if necessary. If they don't notice you, then they won't attack. Simple as that, really, and I don't want to have any trouble if I don't have to."
He did his best to make sure that Anastasia would be able to keep up with him, even if that meant slowing down a little. Cabuck had had his rest and could probably gallop the rest of the way now, but Josh wasn't sure if the other man would be all that fond of riding shotgun on a stranger's horse.
"You can crash at my place until the storm dies down, at least" He would offer. "Might as well. Nothing's going to be open since nobody's dumb enough to be outside in that village besides me, in this weather. Not all of us are fish, you know."

"Ah, u uh... Thanks for your kindness sir, but if I may, would there be a body of water near by that I could stay in? S something humid and damp?" Anastasia was never free from the lake enough to acclimate to being in areas like this, and if it wasn't for the rain, he wouldn't know what to do. He fiddled with his soft, white frills and kept them folded to his arms.
He didn't need to go around looking like a girl anymore than he may have. He didn't want to be questioned about it, he wanted this Hylian to think that he was at least a semi-normal zora.
While he didn't think josh was the kind to make fun of him or anything, he just didn't want to take the risk of anything like that happening to him. He was conversing with someone and not being made fun of. This was actually turning out to be a pretty good little day.

| "Ohhh, right, you've never been away from the Domain, have you? Hmm... I suppose Zora are just capable of getting used to dry land. I'll have to ask Nex how they do it, if I see him again. I saw the little bastard running a stall quite some time ago here, so I know he's here, but I didn't get a chance to greet the grumpy little turd" He remarked with a light chuckle. "I wonder what he's up to now? Probably hawking wares and trying to charm the pink pants off a Gerudo again, even if he's not a people person" Was the next joke to come out. Of course, he wasn't exactly in the know for Hylian affairs. Which meant that he had no idea that the Nex in particular he was referring to: @nex was actually now King Zora. Or just King Nex now, really.
"Well... Uh... We have... A pond? I mean, it's usually for ducks, but.. I guess it'd work for fish too" He remarked, shrugging casually. It was an odd request, but he'd comply. He'd just have to make due with a duck pond.
"Ordon shouldn't be too far now."

Anastasia listened to a good amount of what Josh was saying, but he didn't really pay attention. His attention was mostly drawn to a deer in the trees edges, staring at them and watching. Ana stared back at the deer, completely missing everything he was saying until he heard something about "should be".
He turned his head back quickly and kept moving along the trees, rubbing a spot underneath of his eye some while trudging next to the Hylian. The short little zora was at a total disadvantage. There were some obstacles that were a little difficult for her, and she just went around them instead of trying to climb over them. There was also a strange place that seemed to be.... Well. He shook his head and ignored the little grotto, moving along until a gate came up in their sights. "I is that it?" he asked Josh, stopping at that point and tilting his head some.

| Josh frowned at his question. He supposed a duck pond wasn't satisfactory for a Zora, really. But what else where there?
"Well, I meant at the ranch, but let's see, in the village..." He began as he would think it over. There had to be a good body of water fit for fully submerging a Zora, right? And then it hit him and his eyes would lighten up.
"Yeah! We have a river of sorts, that extends into a large pond, or a small lake. You'd be able to submerge yourself just fine there and wait out the storm" Josh would offer, with a smile. "It's within the village, not on my own property, but... Well, it should be fine."

"Huh? No! I didn't mean that. I I meant the village. Is that the place?" he asked quietly, pointing back to the gates, truly unsure of where they were at. He had quit moving now as well, and was standing stil. His frills moved some and rain caught on them softly, hardly making a sound. But he was quick to fold them back from nervousness.
He looked back to Josh nervously. He just didn't know what ro thinks. This was his first time out of the lake anyways.

| "Oh, yeah. That's the place" He answered, nodding his head. Soon enough, they would find themselves in a small village, with a river leading into a lake. Josh would motion toward the lake. "That's where you should probably hang out until you're ready to move even when the rain stops" Josh would remark.
"My ranch is up there" He'd add, motioning up the hill to a series of ranches and farms. "Sunrise Ranch is ours. I'm going to head there now, to get out of this rain, if that's alright with you. I need to drop off the supplies I grabbed from castle town anyway" Josh would add.
"You gonna be alright without me for a bit?"

Anastasia looked and Josh and gave him a quiet nod before going to the water and sinking into the small lake. The water wasn't stagnant, and it was a little too deep and a little too big to be called a pond. Small lake was more like for it to be called. She went somewhere where if she was called, she would hear him. But also somewhere where he could hide from the sight of other potential villagers.
He was a stranger there, and he didn't know if he would be wanted. While it sounded like a friendly town, he could never be too sure. So she just decided to hide for a little while. She needed a break anyways.

| The blonde would casually wave farewell and watch the overgrown fish head into the lake. Hopefully nobody would notice and ask what the hell he or she was doing. Josh would then turn and head back to his ranch to deliver the supplies and explain to Maude that he'd brought along a giant fish. No, not for dinner! Though Josh had gotten pretty good at fishing lately... But this catch wasn't on the menu, he swore! He'd already had to talk her out of cooking the pig they'd found, would he have to talk her out of frying a fish too?
Still, sooner or later the rain would let up, and Josh would make his way out to the lake, looking around for Anastasia. He was notably much dryer now, and his hair wasn't a mess. And he'd changed his clothes since his old ones were clearly soaked.

She did her best to stay out of the sight of the other villagers, and once Josh had made a return to the waters edge, Anastasia came out of hiding, coming up out of the water where there was shade and looking at Josh.
"Thank you." he bowed his head quietly and readjusted the bow on his back just a bit. He didn't want to be noticed quite yet. And he didn't want to be sunburned yet either. So hiding in the shade seemed like his best bet.

| The blonde would wave casually as the Zora would come up from the water. He was notably carrying an umbrella. Sure, it wasn't raining anymore, but he knew that the Zora didn't want to dry up either, so keeping in the shade as best as he could was for the best.
"Here" He remarked as he handed him the umbrella. "For shade."
